  1. It took a while for the score to update on Google, so I edited my post. It was saying Purdue was up 3-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
  2. I know Penn State hasn't had a great season, but they still have a lot of talent. I kept wondering when the lack of top end talent was going to come back and bite Indiana. I would be stunned if Ohio State doesn't go into the CFP at 13-0 and the #1 seed.
  3. #80 for Indiana just Mossed that PSU DB wow
  4. Would be amazing if Texas Tech ends up losing by 1 because McGuire overthunk it right there and didn't take the easy 3.
  5. Penn State, it was fun while it lasted.
  6. Don't worry, the refs got their back, even in Happy Valley
  7. I would think they want a bigger fish than that and should have the $$$ to do it with Gibson out, Wisner going pro, and possibly Stewart entering the portal. Who knows what Baxter does after this season as well.
  8. Richmond’s putting up a fight so far
  9. Ngl, Southern Cal losing at home in front of their 50 fans in the Coliseum to Northwestern would be hilarious.
  10. They also spent $4 million to retain star forward JT Toppin for their basketball team. Toppin was an integral part of Tech making it to the Elite Eight last season.
  11. If Texas can win this recruitment and the Cam Williams recruitment, that tells me they are giving Sean Miller the financial support he needs to build a really good basketball program. Fingers crossed.
  12. Dawn Staley is licking her chops once again.
  13. Although the thread is referring to this season's Tech team, I would imagine they will be the highest or second highest bidder (behind) Aggy in the Cam Coleman sweepstakes, but like mentioned in a previous thread, the biggest drawback to spending that amount of money on one player is it hurts your depth. What if that star player you spent big on gets hurt? It's a catch 22 for sure.
  14. Jaimeon Winfield and Mark Bowman. Winfield might bite if Riley leaves but Bowman probably stays no matter what if the NIL deal he got this summer holds up. Plus Texas is in a good spot with their TE room, especially if Endries comes back next season.
  15. Scratch Wisconsin off the list. Too many other head coaching vacancies for them to pull the plug here is what they're thinking.
  16. Only way it happens is if Moore goes pro after this season and Butler + one more WR hit the portal. Even then, might be tough to get him from an NIL standpoint.
  17. If they come out flat and barely squeak by Mississippi State you know why
  18. Just a few days after recovering a blocked punt for a touchdown wow. RIP, young man.
  19. Hopefully, Sark, Flood, and Harris can make this one happen!
  20. Those two scenarios are the most likely way Texas makes it to the SEC Championship Game. I have added a third scenario in which Alabama wins all their other games and loses specifically to Oklahoma, Texas wins out, Texas A&M wins out before they lose to Texas, and Mississippi wins out. Texas would finish at the top of the SEC regular season standings and face Alabama in Atlanta. However, you have to wonder if winning your conference really means much in the expanded playoff era, especially in the B1G and SEC. Last season, winning a power level conference guaranteed you a first round bye, but that rule was changed after last season, and it just seems like an extra game of wear of tear with little to gain and a lot to lose. Maybe they could, similar to college basketball and college baseball, have a regular season SEC Champion trophy and an SEC Championship Game trophy when they expand to 16 teams and beyond.
