  1. That's how you close a match point, Stanford!
  2. Sellout record crowd for big home game and choking like it's football lol but Elliott and these ladies said it's our turn to go on a run now.
  3. LT - Goosby LG - Umeozulu with Stroh rotating in C - Hutson I think Cruz is a season away from being ready. Needs another offseason to develop physically, but has a higher ceiling than Hutson for sure. RG - Campbell, but needs to clean up the penalties RT - Baker for now, but this is the biggest question mark by far. Too many penalties and missed assignments. This is why the Cojoe injury is significant. Nick Brooks will have a chance to beat him out over the next couple of games. The OL is not terrible. They don't have to be as good in pass pro as they did in years past because Manning is good at moving in the pocket. Run blocking is still a question mark despite having better personnel. Have to wonder if it's how they're being taught at this point. And of course, the penalties.
  4. Stanford showing some fight, but not surprised. They are fantastic in the non-big 3 sports.
  5. I know there has been thought that Texas can land 5 DTs from high school this cycle, but I just don't see it. Between the amount of NIL allocation and other programs selling more playing time, I think they end up with 4 and be happy about it. They do that and add 1 or 2 bodies in the portal, they should be set in that room for 2026 onward. Hopefully, this would be the last offseason they would have to take more than one DT in the portal, assuming the guys they got in the portal last offseason pan out and the 2025 high school recruits begin to see the field. Hope Melvin Hills sticks it out.
  6. If they win it all this season in volleyball, Jerritt Elliott will have officially brought a dynasty to Austin. Would be 3 natties in 4 seasons. This team looks special.
  7. PK’s defenses have improved every year since he’s been here and went from god awful, to really good, to elite once Nansen joined his staff and tied the front to the back. As crazy as it sounds, Sark’s best offense at Texas was his first season with a healthy Casey Thompson, Worthy, Bijan, and Roschon. Made good throws in the short and intermediate game along with a great deep ball. Red zone was really good too.
  8. My theory on this is, besides NIL and the portal, a lot of these covid super seniors have left these programs and that leaves them with very young, inexperienced rosters. So you’ll probably have more weeks like this where the top teams outtalent lesser competition. Right now, I would say Ohio State looks like they might go back-to-back, but a lot can happen between now and January 20th in Miami Gardens.
  9. He’s staring 4-8 right in the face. Kentucky (despite being on the road) and Mississippi State are very winnable. They usually play Tennessee well, so I would say them, but their win streak over the Vols in the Swamp is in jeopardy. I do think they pull an upset somewhere to get to that 4th win. Either way, I think Napier is cooked in Gainesville.
  10. Not sure why they’re trying to make this Arch hurt his shoulder a thing. If it was that significant, Matt Caldwell would be playing.
  11. Not that it doesn’t make Texas’ offensive issues any less significant, but after watching so many top 25 teams lose or struggle to win, I feel better about this season if the offense continues to improve and they clean up the boneheaded penalties.
  12. I wonder if there’s any players this staff would want for next season and how UF’s 2026 high school recruiting class would be affected if they can Napier mid season. Gotta think about that when letting a coach go now, even when it’s clear they’re not the right guy for the job. Not fully sold on Kelly and Cristobal to both beat Napier though.
  13. Plus they won't make that a night game over Miami @ FSU so Texas might avoid that as well
  14. Steph Curry type spit
  15. Like that SJSU WR fought off Gilbeau to prevent him from intercepting the pass I agree
  16. oSu is worse than SJSU I guess smh
  17. This was less intentional than spitgate that’s for sure.
  18. That's my thought process too. Tech will money whip Bryant and possibly Jalen Brewster. OU will get Houston's commitment, but that will be a fight to the end with USC. Depends on which team has the best season. I see Texas taking a Trey Owens type of QB prospect for the 2027 cycle and putting all their eggs into the Jayden Wade basket for the 2028 cycle.
  19. So many red zone TDs in this game. Future is bright in Austin for these guys.
  20. Harbaugh ball is the way.
  21. That will be Manning in a few years in the NFL.
  22. I looked at a post like this with a glass half full mindset and thought Atkinson was coming to the game and bringing Brayden Rouse with him.
  23. I didn't watch a second of this game. If I had to guess, the Cowboys invented another way to lose.
  24. They just wanna see him do it in the big four regular season matchups remaining, five depending on how you view Arkansas. I'm sure he'll bounce back in these next three games, but they wanna see him do it in the Swamp, the Cotton Bowl, Between the Hedges, and in Austin against their other two rivals.
