  1. Gotta get the 3-point shooting game going
  2. Once again, I doubt this game starts on time unless it starts on the ESPN app or ESPNU. This Duke-UofL WBB game is coming down to the wire, so that means 10 mins of trading timeouts and free throws.
  3. Correct, but besides softball, none of those natties have occurred in the CDC era.
  4. Correct that WBB has won a natty, but not in the CDC era. MBB has a natty from 1933 but that was before the traditional tournament era began, so not really lol
  5. Wow CDC going "all in" for Vic too? Gotta start getting them big three sport natties one way or another I guess
  6. Addison Bjorn could do that for real next season at Texas.
  7. Wemby owns OKC as much as Kirby owns Texas wow
  8. These players move around so much it's hard to keep up lol
  9. Makes that game less scary if that holds up, but they still have Lacy at RB and Umanmielen coming off the edge. Will be a tough game regardless. Surprised Chambliss wants to come back to college football given how desperate the NFL is for QBs and a down year for QB prospects in this draft cycle.
  10. Eh, this is the norm there. Will have zero effect on UGA's on-field performance. Sark has beat Kirby on the field one of these days.
  11. Not happening, but OMG if Sark pulled that off. Doesn't mean he has to fire Flood either. Sark could go to the same model some other programs are using and have Flood coach the tackles and Stoutland coach the guards and centers.
  12. Dude has a longer leash on here than Sark has with Flood
  13. Even with Nico Harrison gone, no way Dončić comes back to Dallas as long as Dumont and Adelson are running the show. Only way he comes back is if the Mavs move to Vegas in a few years and get an expansion NBA team to replace them.
  14. They're 5-5 in SEC play now with 8 games to go. Looking at their remaining schedule, I think a tourney bid (without having to participate in the play-in game) is a lock if they can win their next 3 games (Mississippi, @ Missouri, LSU) and they win at least one of their last 5 games. Texas would finish the regular season 9-9 in SEC play if that scenario pans out. A win at home against OU is the most likely of those last 5 games, but this team has shown they tend to play up and down to the competition, so I could see them getting an upset @ Georgia or @ A&M. I don't see them beating a red hot UF team at the Moody or winning @ Arkansas, but you never know. That's why they play the games.
  15. I disagree with Texas being as high as they are, unless they're just basing that off of potential. Florida, Arkansas, and Auburn should be in the top five because they have won national championships or made multiple Final Four appearances as members of the SEC. However, the NIL era has shown us that your past history in a sport doesn't matter if you are willing to adapt. No one besides Cignetti and his staff could've saw Indiana becoming a juggernaut in football as IU had never had a 10+ win season until they arrived in 2024. Texas could become a top 3 SEC program in men's hoops if they wanted to. That's the key. Are they willing to do it or are they content with being good to great at the other 20 sports on campus and halfarseing the second biggest money maker in their athletic department? This portal window after the men's hoops season is over will tell us everything fans need to know, as will CDC town hall meeting tonight.
  16. While Luicci is the wrong person to be talking about this due to his team underperforming historically more than Texas, he’s not totally wrong. 1 natty in 55 years at Texas is wild. Texas is long overdue for another natty in football. Has Texas been unlucky over some of those 55 years? Yes. But bad luck aside, 55 years is plenty of opportunities to have had more championship success. Sark is beating his three historic rivals like a drum, so I’ll give him that, but he needs keep doing that, not drop games to teams he should beat handedly, and prove he can outcoach other elite HCs in college football (Day, Smart, etc.).
  17. I think Crump will get them over the hump with South Carolina, but if they get past South Carolina, they still have to take down the GOAT Geno Auriemma. I thought they wouldn't win another natty in the NIL era, but UConn has shown they can adapt to the new era of WCBB. But Vic looks like he will get a shot at winning it all in the next few years and I like his chances to break through.
  18. Yep have to get that Ohio State game. Imo, even if they beat Ohio State, Tennessee is a must win with the SEC going to 9 conference games. Need more margin for error. Don't leave it completely in the hands of the committee. Have to get off to a better start early in the season. 11-1 and you're in 100%. 10-2 and you're almost certainly in even if you get to the SEC Championship game and lose (see Alabama last season). 9-3 and you're eliminated once again.
  19. Need a billionaire basketball minded booster for that to happen.
  20. Just looked up Swain’s stats and he’s shooting almost 58% from the field this season. That’s insane for a perimeter player.
  21. Can Cooper Flagg return to college and be a Longhorn?
