  1. Drop the bag, CDC. I wanna see Texas basketball look like the 2023 team again. Don't halfarse it.
  2. There it is from Crump! More of that please!
  3. Still cold from the outside. If they weren’t they’d be up 20+ rn
  4. Shaq could only dream of being an elite shooter like that lol
  5. Can't get too wound up over a recruit that won't sign anywhere until December 2027. A little under two years away. Who knows who the head coaches or assistant coaches will be by then as well?
  6. The March Madness YouTube channel posted this a few days ago. Foreshadowing perhaps?
  7. Texas' WBB NIL is strong as well
  8. Good for depth. I assume Coleman, Wingo, and Mosely will be their primary three guys with some Lockett and Bishop sprinkled in there. Wonder what this means for Daylan McCutcheon's playing time if they get Berkhalter though.
  9. The question about their 3-point shooting slump really struck a nerve with Vic because deep down inside, he knows they're right and that's what it's gonna take to beat South Carolina, LSU, UConn, etc. in the tourney and win it all imo. With Aaliyah Crump back healthy, their outside shooting is the only question mark I have about this team. They are national championship level at everything else. The outside shooting won't hurt them in the regular season but could cap their ceiling to Final Four if it doesn't get addressed. Right now, it seems like UConn is destined for an undefeated national championship season. They are the best 3-point shooting team in WCBB and it's gonna take a herculean effort to knock them out of the tourney. Their conference schedule is a cake walk. Texas at full strength has the best chance to do that imo.
  10. Given the fact that Georgia has been in the SEC Championship every season of the Kirby Smart era besides 2016 and 2020, and has played in every SEC Championship game since 2021 and won that game three out of the last four seasons, I think it’s safe to say Sark is expecting Georgia to be their opponent in Atlanta should Texas make it there. To be the man in this league, you have to beat the man, so any advantage (within the rules) you can get, you take it. Could also face them in the CFP.
  11. The mighty Tarleton State University Texans!
  12. Like Indiana becoming elite at football, Nebraska becoming elite at basketball is not something I had on my bingo card.
  13. No more guesses needed on what this thread was about...
  14. I'm putting a lot of stock into the Ohio State game because in Sark's first five seasons as Texas' HC, the result of their major noncon game has been a strong indicator of how their entire season will go. 2021 - @ Arkansas, got trounced, finished 5-7 2022 - vs Alabama, much better effort, but still lost, finished 8-5 2023 - @ Alabama, biggest win of the Sark era imo, propelled them to an 11-1 regular season, winning the Big XII, and making the last 4 team CFP 2024 - @ Michigan, destroyed them in the Big House, once again finished 11-1 in the regular season, had the best SEC regular season conference record, played for an SEC Championship in their first season in the conference, make it to the Semis once again 2025 - @ Ohio State, lost a close game, finished the regular season 9-3 (10-3 after winning their bowl game). Not as bad of a season as 2021 and 2022, but did not make the SEC Championship game or the CFP So based on those results, I put more stock into the result of that game than most because I believe momentum and swagger are real in college football.
  15. I don't think this is a really bold prediction, but mine is if Texas loses to Ohio State, they will lose at least two more games in the regular season and miss the CFP for the second season in a row. If they beat Ohio State, they will go undefeated in the regular season, win the SEC Championship and have an Indiana esque run in the CFP on the way to a 16-0, Arch Manning Heisman Trophy, and national championship season. Texas will have a top 5 offense for the first time in the Sark era and average over 40 points per game in 16 games.
  16. Watch Sean Miller pull this off.
  17. The evil empire known as the New England Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the 10th time this century. Credit to them for turning things around after a 7 year hiatus, but this NFC Championship is the real Super Bowl imo. This is what the Dallas Cowboys should be if they had a competent front office. Nonetheless, good luck to all the Longhorns remaining in the playoffs.
  18. That’s part of his limited playbook that consists of praising Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, bashing Luka Doncic, Blood Meridian, Cold War, random songs, etc. Even Shawn Watson had a deeper bag of plays than him. But what Josh Pate proposed makes sense to me.
  19. His playbook is Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers, Blood Meridian, Cold War, random songs, etc. Not as deep as Sark's playbook that's for sure.
  20. Gotta win at least 10 of those games to go dancing.
