    Comparing this to previous years, this is further proof the talent gap between Texas and the top programs in college football is closing. If you sort by player average, Texas is #2 on this list. These rankings don't tell the entire story, but it is a testament to the job Sark and his staff have done turning this roster around since they arrived.     Almost like they’ve trying to make all forms of live TV unaffordable for most. Good thing I don’t watch much besides live sports. I have found alternative methods to watch the few channels I actually care about.

    Yeah, and I would argue that they should have returned to the natty game despite replacing VY with McCoy. Unfortunately, McCoy got hurt against K-State and A&M and Texas lost both of those games. If they had won both of those games, they would've beaten Nebraska in the Big 12 title game and gotten into the natty game over Florida. Could've had a rematch in Glendale that season. That team was basically the '05 team minus VY and a couple of other key contributors.

    I don't think Texas will get Alabama again int the regular season until 2028. I think they will get Missouri instead. But still, that's a tough schedule, but will be the new norm for the SEC and Big 10 going forward.

    Nice! If Chris Jackson's high school recruited WRs (Wingo and Livingstone mainly) have good seasons, Texas wins in Columbus, and they make a $trong push for him, I wouldn't rule it out. Maybe the Mater Dei connection between Jackson and Henry wins out by December.
