    Left the University 1974 due to not putting out any effort for my schooling and worked slave labor for brown and root then Texas utilities power plant till I retired in 2009. Enjoy your life it goes by way too quick and try to keep and share a positive attitude. Best of all try your best to live like Jesus. As you can tell I don't always do the best I can. But I try and fail everyday.

    I've mentioned this before and got my butt reamed out by some of you so-called fans. There can be so much negativity on this board and the players I'm sure read and tell of the comments about themselves. Was told they need to toughen up and loose their ego but that's what talented athletes are made of. No one wants to hear negative comments about themselves. Think about it, your thoughts could have a little something to do with their hitting the transfer portal. Lighten I up and appreciate what you have at The University. You should appreciate the efforts they put out and realize you aren't a model of perfection you seem to think. Off my soapbox. Bombs away! Hook Em and God bless!!!

    A large part of this so called doom and gloom is many players care more about money than having Texas on their jersey. Personally I prefer players that really want to play for our team. If it turns into the pro sports economic all or nothing attitude, I'll quit following college sports also. Until then, Hook Em !!!
