    At the 8:40 mark, Cody Campbell makes the statement: "They(Texas Tech) have a contract to not only pay him, but to play him. So how do we not play a kid when we're contractually obligated to do so and a court has ruled that he's eligible to play?" Maybe I'm flat out wrong but it would be shocking to me if NIL agreements actually contained provisions requiring a player to be given playing time. Coaches make lineup decisions all the time, and I can't imagine a contract legally obligating a school to put a specific player on the field.

    Not a bad watch, it does have some edits(about 4 within the first 12mins)Kinda wonder what was edited out and why. Also there is a comment on it that makes me wonder, is there possibly any crimes they are looking into.

    I don't know, but the release of this statement and Joey canceling his press conference make it seem like they're starting to feel the pressure from all of this. Now it's just a matter of seeing what, if anything, comes from it.

    I agree with you for the most part on this. But isn't Yormark's position, like any conference commissioner role, an elected position by the teams in the conference? If that's the case, and all but one school are unhappy with how he handles this situation, you would think there would at least be a mechanism for the schools to push for a change. It's hard to imagine a commissioner keeping a $4 million-a-year job if the overwhelming majority of the conference believes he's mishandling a major issue.

    Hopefully that "major blue blood" Joey hyped up takes a hard pass now.

    Would that really accomplish anything? Teams would just have to forfeit to Tech, and Tech would be credited with the wins. In that scenario, they'd effectively only play two actual games this season, plus the Big 12 Championship Game, since they technically wouldn't have lost a single conference game.

    I caught a replay of a Tech podcast today just to hear their thoughts on yesterday’s game. One of the hosts said being a Tech fan feels like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football while Lucy keeps pulling it away at the last second. 😂

    I was wondering—if the judge ultimately rules in Sorsby's favor, what would the timeline for an appeal look like? Is there any chance it could be resolved before the start of the season, or would it likely drag on beyond that?

    I feel your pain. They don’t bother my wife or daughter, but they absolutely feast on me—I feel like I’m going to bleed out. I’ve started spraying every couple of weeks just to keep them somewhat under control.

    Found the link, but I was wrong about the need for additional documents. Just said the volume of exhibits the judge was presented. No clue who this guy is, though.
