    Seems like both players were already on the team. Aidan Anding signed with LSU Dec 2024 and enrolled in May 2025. Gabriel Reliford signed with LSU Dec 2023 and enrolled Jan 2024. Is there a way a player can sign with a program but not be on the official roster?

    People keep saying, “At least after this year, this won’t happen again.” And as far as NFL players coming back to college, I agree—that probably won’t happen again. My question is: what happens when a player from the 2023, 2024 or 2025 recruiting class goes before a judge and says, “But Judge, I only played four games during my redshirt season. I didn’t actually get a full five years of playing eligibility.” It seems to me like this issue may not be completely settled yet. The NFL-to-college situation may be over, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are still more eligibility challenges ahead.

    I ran across Casey Thompson’s Instagram page the other day and had no idea he was playing in Germany. The reason I’m posting this, though, is take a look at all the ads on those uniforms. They look like a NASCAR car with sponsor logos everywhere. There are even ads on the front of the helmets. It looks ridiculous.     That's not entirely true. With a player like Goosby and the future he has ahead of him, a trainer can certainly manipulate the knee and check for resistance or instability. However, the smart move is to get an MRI and see exactly what is or isn't damaged before making any assumptions.

    Completely agree. That said, I've been burned so many times betting the over on season passing yard totals. The only one I seem to have gotten right was taking Jackson Arnold's under on passing yards last year.

    Not sure how many of y’all dabble in the PrizePicks world, but they just dropped their college football season total plays. For Texas, the lines currently are: • Arch Manning – 25.5 passing TDs • Arch Manning – 3,124.5 passing yards • Cam Coleman – 749.5 receiving yards • Ryan Wingo – 724.5 receiving yards

    Agree, he seems like a very mature kid. As long as he’s not playing against Texas, he’s an easy guy to root for.

    I never said Texas wouldn’t be fine without him. I was just surprised to see Texas running third behind Georgia, considering that for most of his recruitment leading up to commitment day, the consensus was that it was primarily a Texas vs. Ohio State battle, with Ohio State holding the slight edge.

    I'm a bit surprised by Fakatou saying if it wasn't Ohio State it would have been Georgia. Seemed like from all reports Texas was in second place at worst. @Gerry Hamilton Are you surprised by that at all?
