R.I.P recruiting out of high school. When Sark said Texas wasn't going to major in the portal, it was coming from a place of luxury - as though the portal would continue to be used to augment the roster rather than replace half of it. How can you even be excited about a commitment in the '27 class? Easton Royal's a free agent with some team merch and a safety net.

Let me just add that I'm also a hockey guy. Lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Original 6 franchise, haven't won a championship since 1967. You ain't see NOTHIN'.

Ah man, it's more of a societal thing than a specific community thing. Every sport, every fan base. There's just no getting around it on the internet. It's heightened right now in college football with all of the unprecedented turnover and state of limbo in the portal. That said, OTF does a better job than anywhere of making sure the cream always rises to the top. It's good to be in touch with the state of panic / negativity during this insane portal season. We'll all remember this. Just keep a level head and pay attention to the guys who are doing the same. There's a ton of knowledgeable fans in here who know their stuff and keep it on the rails.

For a team that Sarkisian says "won't major" in the transfer portal.... boy, do we have a lot of KEY positions to fill in the wake of departures heading into the "all in on Arch" season. It's becoming inevitable we're going to have more foundational (starting) pieces come out of the portal heading into '26.
