Anyone who's ever worked their their ass off around the clock to secure sponsorship dollars knows how annoying this post must be whether it's tongue-in-cheek or not. Not every product's for every person. It ain't easy to keep the lights on fellas, let alone to continue leveling up at a clip like OTF has. Now I'ma hop outta this thread before the same people who took Arch Manning's press conference way too seriously last week show up and start blaming OTF for climate change because they promote Vonlane.

I really think the return of Nick Townsend could help Arch's game out a lot when he's back.

A wild talking point 8 days after defeating OSU to become the #1 team in the country. What a luxury. Pains me to say it, but Arch is their biggest problem right now. Jekyll & Hyde thing going on. At times, he looks as good as any quarterback in the country. But far too often, he literally looks like he just woke up and found himself in his own body a full second after the ball is snapped and he's behind the play trying to figure out where he's at in his progressions. It's so frustrating. I am perplexed. I'd love to hear how his uncles diagnose his struggles. Sark's not perfect, but he didn't get his reputation by accident. He's completely turned the program around. It's one thing to question some play calls - I've yelled at the TV - but it's another thing to question him as a play caller entirely.

LSU vs Ole Miss is can't miss TV. I think LSU's a juggernaut, need them to pick up losses somewhere. If they get through Ole Miss, their chances at playing for an SEC championship sky rocket. Really hope Ole Miss comes out on top, but I think Kiffin eats them alive.

Texas is the only team without a single vote outside the top 5. Their only vote outside the top 4 is from the OU guy. All but 12 ballots have them at #1, and 6/12 who don't have them at #2.

You could argue Mateer looked better without his thumb. At some point it has to be widely accepted that he's been awful since transferring to OU. Is there a worse quarterback against ranked opponents on a ranked team? Might have challenged Brutus in a pushup competition, but outside of that... he's not winning anything.

I can't help but wonder if we're heading into an all-time predicament where there's less 10-2 teams and a whole mess of 9-3 teams vying for final playoff spots and relying on the committee to make sense of strength of schedule. Will push college playoffs to 24 teams in a hurry if that's where we end up.

It's really got nothing to do with an actual bet. Just a roundabout way of gauging a) level of optimism around Goosby's injury at this time, and b) confidence Texas can get to the CFP if he's out longer term. The kids are not having fun. Noted. We will not come back to the petting zoo.

Knowing what we know about Goosby's status... non-contact knee injury, left the field, walked off on his own, awaiting MRI... Would you rather: a) Take your chances, let the diagnosis play out as it will, see where he's at and how many games he'll miss. b) Take a deal right now where he's guaranteed to miss the entire regular season, but also guaranteed to be 100% for playoffs if Texas makes it.
