    Charles hasn't answered my last three calls. When that happens, it's not normally a good sign. Let's see if that stays true to form. We shall see what happens.

    One of my favorite things in the business is a small town defensive lineman that will be a DI player on some level just living in rag doll mode on Friday nights. Brysen Maxwell-Steele (6-0, 300) of Marlin has 200 tackles and 74 tackles for loss in the last two seasons, and Marlin is still in the playoffs so those numbers will climb...     Hilson and Marshall isn’t a one or the other. They are completely different players. One guy will be a 6-3.5, 260 pound EDGE, the other 6-4, 300’ish 5/3. Texas doesn’t feel great about Marshall - as of Friday lunchtime. We shall see if that changes. Have to overcome mom’s relationship/trust with Auburn.

    Florida is trying to get Hicks to take a one-day OV on Sunday. Florida plays at FSU Saturday night at 7pm ET

    That's not a deal breaker either way. Meaning if Hart had stayed in 2026 and signed with Michigan ... Hilson wasn't going to Michigan. Hilson isn't following a QB or teammate. Hilson goes to A&M it will be development, ability to start the development on the field early and A&M went way above and beyond.

    He is. If a prospects feels like he can develop at one of three schools, and one school goes way above and beyond ... it's a very big deal. Hilson will be developed very well at either school in Texas IMO.

    Note on Texas commit Zelus Hicks Per a source very close to Carrollton (Ga.) High 4-star++ safety and Texas commitment Zelus Hicks, he does still plan to sign December 4. Hicks, 6-1.5 and 190-pounds, made an official visit to Texas last weekend for the Kentucky game. Hicks had visitis Florida, Georgia Tech and Tennessee on the Saturday's prior. There had been a report that Hicks is/was considering official visits to Colorado and Florida. The only way that happens is if Hicks decides not to sign December 4. Carrollton High (12-0) plays in a third round playoff game tonight against Hillgrove (11-1)
