  2. As a player ... can really shoot the ball as a stretch four with athleticism and a strong presence. After 2-3 years, an NBA draft prospect IMO
  3. He is expected to impact the team. Not saying starter or 12 and 5 per game, but he's going to help Texas win games year one.
  4. Always the correct answer!
  5. lol I’ll see how much I can drink tonight and see what can be done
  6. OnTexasFootball doesn’t believe there is any new movement with 4-star++ WR Jalen Lott ahead of his July 8 announcement. 1. Oregon 2. Texas
  7. Texas 4-star++ LB Brayden Rouse will announce his decision July 8. As of Sunday, it’s expected to be Tennessee or Texas. The Vols have the long standing relationship with the family
  8. Again, as expected https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45658616/2025-acc-college-football-projections-preview
  9. Tyler Atkinson ... just a special LB prospect. But I get where you are with Samari Matthews ... 6-foot-1 corner that has physicality and playmaking. A true corner va. trying to develop a player into a CB.
  10. Great finisher in the paint against much taller and longer athletes ... played off of two feet so well. Weaved around in the half court and got to his spots while creating enough space.
  11. https://www.basketballnetwork.net/old-school/b-j-tyler-had-one-of-the-most-bizarre-injuries-in-nba-history-after-which-he-retired
  12. BJ Tyler was a freak athletically ... great great prospect. Sad ending to the hoops part
  13. We shall see on that. CDC isn't going to hire him, and not provide him a real opportunity. There is something coming soon on the NIL front at Texas, outside the rev share.
  14. In terms of at Texas … I really believe DJ Augustin will always be undervalued Led Texas to E8 winning Bob Cousy Award, first team All-American … lottery pick Stellar two year college career IMO
  15. Sean Miller is receiving very good feedback back from the AAU and coaching community in the state. I have little doubt he will do very well at Texas. Terrific coach, and very focused on goals with the opportunity to complete a resume in next 6-8 years
  16. The key recruiter for the Horns in this recruitment hadnt had contact for days. He was the main point of contact until about 10 days ago. BP-W is a solid prospect. OTF has him as a 4-star+ prospect. One college coach compared him to a future 275-pound version of Barryn Sorrell if he maximizes… if that comes to pass, very good player
  17. Is it purely at Texas? Or NBA career factors in? KD TJ The obvious … Wooden & Naismith Awards winners DJ Augustin and LaMarcus Aldridge in my years. LaSalle Thompson is likely a pick for some Texas fans … Johnnie Moore could be too You have guys that are better NBA players that college players - Myles Turner, Jarrett Allen PJ Tucker will always be underrated as a college player at Texas
  18. Richardson is super twitched up athlete for those that haven’t seen him … his game is ascending big time right now.
  19. For those wondering … my OnTexasBasketball in-state rankings for 2027 post TABC Marcus Spears Jr. has the highest NBA upside down the line. Dawson Battie is what I call a “Final Four” player. Al Horford’lite Reese Alston visited Overtime Elite last week. Second Baptist fighting to keep him Im going to expand the state rankings to top 20 after July … a terrific class in-state right now, prior to guys leaving for national programs over time. Dynamic Prep should keep three of the best in state, Richardson will finish HS at Friendswood … so hopefully the state doesn’t lose as many in this cycle
  20. I know Chase Richardson very well being a former Friendswood High player that is very close to the program. Hes ascending quickly as a player/PG right now. Won’t surprise me if he ends up being a top 50-60 player in the class. There are 25’ish high-majors watching him in Rock Hill next week. A lot of head coaches I’ve watched Avery Huston multiple times since the spring. Love where he is headed as a player. He should be a top 100 prospect (maybe top 75 or higher) in time.
  21. Yep. Think it’s he got a lot of muscle weight.
