Texas fan in Georgia

I seen a comment earlier today where somebody was talking about how fans in SEC country truly live breathe and die by the SEC. It’s a real thing down here brother😂 this is the conference of fans who will poison your campus attractions. (See Harvey Updike). Trust me, it’s been hard to be a Texas fan in the state of Georgia this week

To the board and mods for some of the comments I’ve made on here. Feel like I’ve been one of the better members of the community until the last few days . I even took a whole day off from the board to avoid becoming another #Hashtag🙃. Just an overall frustrating week since the end of the game Saturday night but I’ll be better 🤘🏼

The problem with that is if it opens in may , your gonna have guys that have to make quick destination decisions and on top of that, does it really benefit a player to come in and have to learn a scheme within 2-3 months?

*sigh* the back to back semi final appearance argument has run its course. Did u forget the main reason Texas was in its first playoff was bc Jordan Travis got hurt? Had that injury not happened, Texas could’ve gotten left out. One could argue we shouldn’t have even made the semis last year bc Arizona st came all the way back and even took the lead and had it not been for a missed targeting call on Michael taffe, Arizona st probably wins that game. Now imagine how everyone would be feeling had we lost to Arizona st. After being up 17 points. Lets not even bring up the blown leads that has happened every year sarks been here. He’s hit his ceiling here. He’s too stubborn to change who he’s been his entire career. The expectations fans had this year is partly due to sarks own words. The man talked national championship and SEC championship on more than one occasion during the offseason, even 2 weeks ago mentioned how this is a playoff team. Which is exactly how Kirk bohls should’ve responded yesterday.

Sark has said himself they’ll never be a GM over him as long as he’s the head coach.

It’s not like only folks on this board believe sark could be leaving. There’s probably a team that feels they have a good chance at getting him. It’s not like Howard is somebody that doesn’t have anybody in the NFL he speaks to that probably led him to post the video he posted.

Didn’t mean for it to come off like that but when you see the product on the field plus the report the day of the miss st game, it’s hard to believe this guy is 100% focused on Texas football. Listening to his PC earlier doesn’t really instill any confidence.

Dan lanning would be at the top of the list for me. Dude will get a team ready to play. Intensity always high.

I doubt Kirby would take them knowing they chose Texas for the money. He’s made it clear he doesn’t want guys like that on his roster

If OU and Texas were still in the B12 with this tech team and their roster due to NIL, tech would’ve probably swept them both.

Spend the amount necessary in the portal . You can’t tell me this staff put everything they had in the portal this past offseason. You’re the university of Texas and should be able to outbid damn near everybody. Your already paying large amounts to some underperforming players on this years roster. Look at tech . They bought themselves a damn good team . Sark preaches culture yet his culture seems shitty. Players chirping midfield after losing by 25 isn’t a winning culture.

The playcalling and decision making would indicate he’s not sober 🙃 jk. I don’t think he’s relapsed but in all seriousness his focus is clearly not on Texas football

I mean I look at some of the players on our team and see what he’s talking about. The fact he can see it and sark can’t is alarming

He beat the worse bama team in almost 20 years and that is where he peaked. He has 100% hit his ceiling at Texas.

Sarks just not good at evaluating his own roster. He really looked at what he had in the offseason and said yeah let’s roll with it. If he doesn’t throw cam Coleman a serious bag then he’s not serious as a head coach. I don’t care if we lose wingo. He’s gonna leave about 75 yards and multiple catches on the field every night. If it’s not his eyes it’s his hands. He’s not physical and could care less about blocking. Mosely is unquestionably the best receiver on this team. Deandre Moore has been virtually non existent this year. Feel bad for arch. Sarks gonna waste him by not putting enough talent around him and is gonna get him killed by not putting a better OLine to protect him.

Not necessarily natty or bust. But if you’re making $10m a year and have a $25+ million dollar roster, you most definitely should be in the conversation for a natty. Every year

It strengthened Texas win over OU. If anything it hurt notre dame. I understand notre dame won but man idk nobody except Bobby Burton believed OU was gonna beat Alabama
