  1. He needs to grab the receivers and develop some chemistry. A whole offseason obviously wasn’t enough.
  2. Sarks good when he’s got 4 first round receivers on the roster. I’ve just been doing research on sarks career and the numbers and IMO he’s overrated. Look at how the falcons regressed in PPG when he was hired and fired after 3 years. The yards can be there big deal when it doesn’t translate to points what good does the yards do? His PPG since being at Texas has either dropped or remained nearly the same. I’m not calling for his job or anything. 2 back to back playoffs blah blah blah when your losing every game to teams or staffs that have equal talent
  3. I’m pondering how he was so confident in the offseason to not spend the money on Zach branch or Eric singleton. I get that extra baggage came along with branch, but you chose a guy that at this point I’m not even sure will ever take a snap at Texas over having to take branch’s brother. There was plenty of playmakers at WR that entered the portal that he passed over.
  4. There was a whole thread on milwee. Most are questioning him.
  5. Not inspired by sarks answers. Not that it matters I get that. But man it’s like he’s the smartest guy in the room . Does he even ask any of these special assistants that he hires for their opinions or advice on anything? And if he does does he even take it ?
  6. He’s always done that thing with his shoulders. Watch his debut vs tech
  7. Durham is a beast. Hate we missed on him
  8. Evaluate? Nah. Develop? Remains to be seen
  9. I see your point but as long as the defense plays like they did yesterday minus the badly timed penalties I don’t see Texas having to get into a shootout. They need to be able to score 24-28 points a game and they should win.
  10. It’ll be a night and day difference all right. Bc that game will indeed be played at night.
  11. After watching Alabama yesterday I don’t see them getting to Atlanta. I think Georgia and LSU could be the best teams in the SEC. And they don’t play each other this year. Texas has to beat Florida and OU and then I could see the Georgia game being a winner gets to Atlanta type implications.
  12. OU defense is still legit. I’m not as worried about opposing teams offense as I am their defense.
  13. Wish he’d reach out to David cutcliffe and gage his interest
  14. I’m trying to hold on the hope that the playcalling in sec play will be a complete 180 of what we seen yesterday. Sark knew he didn’t have to win yesterday. And the playcalling reflected it.
  15. I didn’t expect UTSA arch, but throwing 90 mph fastballs at the receivers feet is inexcusable no? Too many easy throws that were missed and missed badly. Not what you’d expect out of a guy with 3 years in the system
  16. He belongs in the same category as James Franklin.
  17. I think sark was cocky in the off season and decided not to pay the money for top WR talent in the portal and now it will come back on him. The one WR you got hasn’t played since the start of fall camp apparently.
  18. I’m definitely in wait and see mode. I was never one of the ones that publicly called for arch over Quinn and yesterday showed why. I am convinced that sark is overrated and living on past glory as a play caller .
  19. I mean Lee corso was the only one to pick fsu and fsu blew Alabama out . That 14 point score isn’t indicative of how fsu physically beat down alabama
  20. Tom herman averaged 2017: 31.5 PPG 2018: 31.1 PPG 2019: 35.2 PPG 2020: 42.7(!!) PPG SARKS PPG AT TEXAS: 2021: 35.2 PPG 2022: 34.5 PPG 2023: 35.8 PPG 2024: 33.3 PPG
  21. Somebody call chip kelly and ask if he’s bored and ready to come to work
  22. Also, and I could be way off base with this but it’s just a thought, is it time to evaluate AJ Milwee? I mean he’s a better QB coach with me, but arch’s mechanics looked completely different from last year. I don’t remember ever watching him throw it sidearm and that’s one thing Quinn was notorious for. Also arch was putting way too much mustard on short routes especially on the 3rd down throw to wingo that could’ve went for a pretty big gain
  23. What @Gerry Hamilton said this morning on rapid reactions is true. The next 3 weeks will mean nothing. Texas is gonna look like the best team in the country when they beat 3 scrubs by 30 and arch looks like the second coming, they’ll probably even score every red zone possession they get over the next 3 games. But none of it means anything. October 4 is the most important game on the calendar right now. If Texas can go to the swamp in what will almost certainly be a night game and execute offensively at a higher level than what they did in Columbus, the ship can be righted and perception can change. But if a visit to the swamp is similar to the visit in Ohio, everything about sark is gonna be questioned IMO. Deandre Moore looked pretty pissed off after the game. Hopefully he turns into a leader and steps up. The one bright spot I had about the offense was how good the o line looked except on the last drive. Looked like they whiffed on a free rusher and led to the short pass to endries.
