    This game has a 35-13 feel. As in, wheels have come completely come off.

    Call stuff where he doesn’t have to see the whole field. The Florida QB generally had one read. Most of their plays involved misdirection and/or a quick pass. He didn’t really have to stand back there and pat the ball.

    Not being able to pick up a simple A gap blitz -ever - doesn’t do the QBs confidence any favors.

    Hutson was bad at center last year. Couldn’t play him there. There is no real solution to being weak in IOL this year. Have to try to mask it with scheme.

    Frankly, Baker isn’t very good. Way over ranked. Weak and slow footed.

    Baker not being very good has been a killer. Cannot run to the right side. Cannot pick up a blitz to right side.

    This is literally the OU 3rd quarter game plan. Short passes and runs on offense, shoot gaps on defense and whip our TEs at the line.

    Sark could learn something from this OC. Almost every play they run has some element of misdirection or, if no misdirection, gets the ball out very quickly. The QB is not thinking. He’s just playing.

    The SC game was a blowout but most of the game was competitive. UF outgained and out rushed them. Some bad turnovers by UF and then clutch plays by USC.

    So, just forget about Jackson Christian? I think a big factor in losing was transfers not understanding the nature of the game. I don’t think Coleman, the two RBs, Biles, Cryer truly understood what a street fight it was going to be. Coleman was the only one who made any plays and that was when Arch put it on his facemask (although one went right through his hands). Your leaders in a game like this need to have played in it before. All that said, yes we need to improve in the IOL. Right guard is a sieve too.

    QB development even for a Manning is measured in years if not decades. The 10,000 hour rule applies here. He’s not going to be a finished product until he’s played in the league for 5 to 7 years. Sorry.
