  1. Per collegefootballdata.com Graphic by Sickos Committee
  2. A look at the Tennessee schedule before Texas comes to Knoxville. GT in Atlanta is the only somewhat challenge. I like Brent Key a lot but don’t know how competitive you can expect them to be with Haynes King gone, Buster Faulkner gone, and several other staffers like Gideon.
  3. Brandon, a true freshman and former five-star, won the job over rising 2nd year legacy QB George Macintyre. this has been the expected slotting for a few months now but is now official
  4. Few thoughts lol 1. There were only 48 states the last time A&M won a natty. 2. Can't wait to see what's in this thread. Also I can't imagine how many different things went through your head before you came to this board-appropriate topic lol 3. I know you're headed to Longview so I hope that's not the Whataburger right off I-20 by Lindale. Hit the drive thru on the way home from a game in East Texas a few years ago and it was the worst Whataburger experience I've ever had. Didn't even finish the burger and the experience was so bad I still remember it 4. If you're in East Texas and want a burger, go to Juicy's Hamburgers. They're terrific. Looking forward to hitting it next week when I'm in Longview
  5. Felt I needed to use this gif again
  6. Think he'll have a bit of a different role once we're in the actual season and are done with scrimmages. But they're gonna get him the ball too. Definitely unorthodox for a 5-star OL, but he can help them win games that way. Gilmer went 4-7 last year which is the worst record I can find they've had in the MaxPreps era goes back to 2004 (can't see earlier season records), so I assume they're getting creative with Camara in this way because it's easy to assume the talent pool is down from what it's been. There's also very few players in 4A-DII that will be able to get him to the ground by himself. And Cedar Hill runs the ball with Jalen Brewster multiple times a game as well.
  7. I'll be in Longview next Thursday to see Gilmer at Pine Tree
  8. Think the defense had a few backups in on that play but Brentwood Academy has been one of the main prospect factories in Tennessee the last few years. They have a 4-star Tennessee LB commit that I'm pretty sure is the kid who ripped off DGG's helmet since he usually wears No. 10. Saw him at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio in January and he was pretty solid. Was a Bama commit that flipped to Tennessee this summer. Name is Kenneth Simon. His dad is former Tennessee and NFL LB Kevin Simon. They're pretty loaded though. Here's a look at their senior class.
  9. Texas could use him right now
  10. I thought he was gonna be the next great Texas back after watching him run all over Lake Travis in the State Championship game during my 8th grade year. One of the first disappointments I experienced when I started following recruiting
  11. This made me think of Tre Watson lol. He was one of my favorites during the Herman era
  12. Some of my stepmom's family are big TCU fans since her brother, Michael Reeder, was a kicker at TCU who was an All-American and Lou Groza award winner. He's also in the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame. The entire family canceled their season tickets a few years ago because they were so pissed off TCU hired Kendall Briles as OC to replace Garrett Riley after Riley left for Clemson following the 2022 season. They have since renewed their season tix after Briles left for South Carolina this offseason.
  13. I need a custom gif of Rod wooing on a livestream
  14. Can you imagine the rates some of their players/parents of players pay? On the same note, do recruits with clean driving records that enroll at Georgia see their rates go up cause they're now a Georgia football player lol?
  15. We're like two hours away from the Texas version of Dr. Shin appearing
  16. Incoming A&M will unlock his potential takes lol, as a rising 5th year 23 year old...
  17. I live less than 10 minutes away from here and bummed I can't be there. Should be a great time though! I'll be in Cedar Hill instead for a three team scrimmage between Cedar Hill, South Oak Cliff, and Duncanville
  18. I know he wasn't named to it when he was at Texas, but Maraad Watson might be the least talked about Freshman All-American I've seen in the Sark era
  19. It's definitely a concern. I have confidence in Biles, Cryer, and Smith but anyone after is a different story. Brad Spence and Darius Snow could be huge X factors. More Spence than Snow. The freshmen will flash this fall and the reps they're getting now will help, but they're still freshmen and for them to be fully comfortable and fully playable it's going to take several games at the least. Just think about how dumbed down Anthony Hill's role was in the first few games of his freshman season when he was usually rushing the passer or blitzing.
