  1. Speaks well to the future of the DL. I'm kinda excited to see what the DL guys look like next year Charles, Sharma and J.Terry. Paired with January, Watson and possibly Johnson if he sticks around.
  2. Hey according to the rumours, we could be joining the list, what a wild off-season that would be huh?😂
  3. I almost wonder if Kelly would be a guy Penn State is interested in? That place seems more his speed than LSU. The question than becomes, who does LSU go after, if they go that route.
  4. Yeah I saw A&M knife through untouched so much. Reminded me of our OL at times. Nuss took some brutal hits.
  5. Yep I love how people act like they'll just come to Texas lol.
  6. I'll be honest, they've more than proven it already. They're improved from last year, they added well in the portal and are playing at a high level. Won't matter if we play them in Austin or not, that is going to be an extremely tough game to win.
  7. Yeah I don't really understand that, but I thought the front 7 was good today but the secondary did not match that. PK needs to go have a chat with Akina.
  8. Well my 25-13 prediction was way off lol
  9. I've never seen a guy that tall, move that well and be that athletic. People make fun of big acting like guards but he still plays like a big, if that makes sense. He's insane.
  10. I'm not sure about a prediction, but Texas hasn't scored more than 21 against P4 opponents this year. 7 against Ohio State, 21 against Florida, 16 against OU and 13 against Kentucky (excluding the OT FG). Miss State lost 23-21 last week to Florida and Shapen missed a few passes that would've gotten them into FG range or gone for TD's. Now, In saying all that I'm going with 25-13 Texas. They might not score a bunch of TD's but I think special teams and D can help them out with field position.
  11. Can't expect him to be 100% but he'll at least be good enough to go. Hope he can stay healthy.
  12. It won't affect anything in the '26 class. But beyond that, it probably would.
  13. If he doesn't, you still think Drink is their 3rd guy?
  14. I love t hese write ups, always a good read. Though I Think Arch was sacked 3 times not 5, Texas D sacked Boley 5 times. Not sure why we didn't see more Clark, could be because he's not reading the plays properly. Saw on IT's 22 look, that he's not seeing the lanes he's supposed to hit but who knows. Maybe Simon could get some run? Though if Baxter is back, probably not. I'm just not sure what Sark is thinking sometimes. The O is struggling, adjust to what they do well and let them do something. If we have a repeat performance this week, Miss State will punish us for it and then to have to force out D to play 80+ snaps, almost 40 minutes two weeks in a row and then back that up with a game against Vandy? Yikes. Anyway, we'll see how it pans out. Hopefully Sark has learned his lesson and will game plan accordingly.
  15. Looks like Ohio State is the favourite according to different websites but I suppose you gotta shoot your shot, right?
  16. I know that's why I said next guy up would be a defensive guy, aka Freeman. Hypothetically.
  17. Seems like they took Gerry's advice, that he would be a better long term option and wrote him a blank check offer.
  18. Ohio State yes, Texas probably not. Is there a connection to Texas I'm not aware of or you think it's a big enough job that he would consider it? Plus considering you always said you hire the opposite of what you had, so next up for Texas HC would be a "defensive" guy.
  19. I think Miami's OL makes our OL look elite...holy Jesus, lol.
  20. Haven't guys in the G-League been in college already or am I mistaken on that? Either way, it sounds like they might need to sit down and discuss what to do moving forward. Although knowing the NCAA....lol.
  21. I think he will be up for discussion. Not for any top jobs though, imo. Plus I think he can afford to be pretty selective, as I don't think Lanning is going to move him on.
  22. People act like just because he's been to back to back semi finals, that he is not allowed to be criticized or that he isn't fireable. Now, do I want him fired? No. But it is clear that things have to change (not the HC). Look what happened to Franklin, who was arguably better at Penn State for longer and was in the semi finals last year and possibly the natty if not for Allar. Yet he was let go. If Sark is too stubborn or arrogant to realize that things need to change, he will find himself facing the same. That is just how it is. It should be inexcusable for a team to look this bad. I understand it's a road game and all that but that was just absolute dog water. If Kentucky and Stoops weren't so brain dead, they would've put 40 on us. Excusing that we lost a lot of talent to the NFL, like we're the only team that lost guys last year lol. Come on guys. I think calling for him to be fired right now is stupid. But with how things are fairing in College football, you're not going to be given a lot of leeway for long if you continue to put up efforts like that because you've been to "back to back semi finals" Just my useless two cents anyway.
