Gerry been saying that for a while that with how things are at Texas with the players there, it's an easier path to the court at Duke or Arizona.

We make fun of it, but the fact is, that you'll have to take a chance on someone. Not sure Coach O is the guy I'd take a chance on but whatever floats your boat.

30 - Georgia 28 - Texas It's a very tough road game, they have built that place into a fortress. Their O is better and our secondary struggles are noticeable. Taaffe and McDonald will help, but they were both there for the Florida disaster. This D has given up damn near 400+ yards in the last 3 games. It took two OT's to beat two conference dwellers and we almost blew the game two weeks ago against Vandy. Also coming off the bye has me worried, too. Similar to the Florida game. Hope I'm wrong, I'd be more than glad to be.

I don't know about us getting blown out, but Georgia OL is good, they have a good run game with two good RB's. Some good WR's and TE's, plus Stockon is playing his tail off this year. Defensively they aren't the Georgia of years passed. LB's are great/elite, DL is pretty meh compared to what Georgia has had and the secondary is banged up. Personally think we lose but get blown out? Not sure about all that. The boys need to get out there and play their best game of the year if they want to prove people wrong. There is no doubt that this secondary is a concern.

How many upsets can we get this week?

I thought Brady didn't like recruiting? Plus he seems like with the way he's coaching, he'll get an NFL opportunity before he takes a college HC job. We also aren't sure that Kiffin even wants to leave Ole Miss, we're all just assuming he'll leave for LSU or Florida, but there's a real chance he might stay.

Technically they could move Spence back to LB, no? Considering you're losing Hill, if nothing pops in the portal there.

Also the way he moves and the athleticism is crazy for a guy his size. I hope we're able to flip him to Texas but he may still sign with LSU regardless.

You know everyone was saying that about us last year, right? We had an easy schedule, played a bunch of back-up QB's, etc.

Yeah it must be nice to spend that much money to dominate the big 12 like that LOL.

To your point A&M is weak at stopping the run, but we can't run the ball. Remember how bad Kentucky was at stopping the run? Wasn't Miss State bad at it, too? Just saying, just because a team has a weakness doesn't mean you can take advantage of it. This isn't negativity either, it's just criticism and opinions. That's what the forum is for or rather forums in general. Texas was right there with them in their house but anyone watching that game felt like we were never really in it. Plus they didn't have an identity either, first start for their QB, new RB's, etc. I do agree though, go out and win these next 3 games and you control your destiny. Lose one and you're likely out. We'll see how they do this week against Georgia.

I'm not sure Cruz is going to want to sit another year. But I could be wrong. Right now imo, if Goosby comes back your OL looks like this next year: LT - Goosby, LG - Brooks/Stroh, C - Robertson/Cruz, RG - Kibble/Stroh, RT - Baker If Goosby doesn't come back: LT - Brooks, LG Stroh/Kibble, C - Roberston/Cruz, Kibble/Stroh, RT - Baker Now to your point, what do Chatman and Cojoe do? Do the Coleman twins and Christian develop well for next year? Umeozulu is likely to transfer at this point. He only has one year left of eligibility anyway. You could potentially be looking at 2-3 OL transferring. Unless Cojoe can play G. But to your point, they definitely need some competition. Whether that's from transfers or the guys there already. Either way you have the potential to lose 3 starting OL from this years group. I'll be curious to see what Sark/Flood do in the off-season. Though to be fair, they would hopefully have a team of people looking around and seeing what is possibly out there.

I think if that was an issue, it would affect the whole team, not one specific position.
