Sark doesn't exactly have a good hit rate on his HS recruited WR's. So it doesn't really bother me. My uneducated guess is they go to the portal again next year.

The young man has such great potential but he just can't get and stay healthy. It sucks and is unfortunate. I'm assuming we'll be in the TE market next year, too?

There is no in season fix. Best you can do is work around it and then actually fix the problem in the off season. Not pretend it's not an issue.

Maybe. As is often said, most OC's you bring in to run an offense usually want their own OL coach. I'm assuming that Arbuckle wasn't allowed that because of Bedenbaugh's history at OU.

To your point Michigan has only scored more than 25 points twice this year. 52 against UTEP and 28 against Rutgers. Every other game has been under 21 points.

Yeah he's better in college than he is the NFL but for some reason these guys always have to try their hand in the NFL. I have watched a few of their games. Considering the talent level, I think the offense is pretty good. I mean it's Northwestern I'm not exactly sure what you're expecting there lol. Considering he's helping them win games they would normally lose I'd say he's doing good job. Whether it looks special or not. Just my two cents.

I think it depends on what Sark does with the offense. If you hire an OC/QB coach, they typically want their own guy for the OL. If he doesn't go that route which one of these fit with what Sark does offensively?

I know people say Flood is good at T's but outside of Banks I just don't see it. Banks would've been great anywhere, imo. Maybe I'm wrong. But there does need to be some serious eval's into why that room is always a weak point. Is it S&C, is it Flood, is it Sark, is it the scheme? Combination of all? Who really knows. But it's obvious that something isn't working and hasn't been working all that well for a while;.

OSU didn't run him off, he went back to the NFL with a job offer. Saying that he's doing mediocre at Northwestern of all places is hilarious to me. He's calling plays to the talent he has.

Well they're definitely not hiring anyone good. Venables is the type of DC you hire who thinks he can just win everything with good defense and puts all his resources there. On top of that, they have Jim Nagy who thinks he knows everything and probably has way too much power for a guy at his position. People worrying about them hiring Chip Kelly don't need to worry. Kelly would never put up with that crap and would want full control. If he doesn't get that, why would he bother? At Northwestern he has full control to do what he wants. Which is working. I expect they'll hire another up and comer, give him some discount pieces to work with and then fire him in a few years time. Jason Witten being the play caller is going to be laughable.

I have no idea about those people, I'm just saying that people give CDC way too much credit for things. He's a good dude and does his job well but none of those decisions will be his to make. He'll just be the one to deliver the news.

I actually think you're right. My guess is he'll demote Banks to TE's coach and find a special teams coordinator. Maybe he'll make Banks full time special teams coordinator and promote Stefve Casula to TE's coach?

Well he's had plenty of time to find someone to run the offensive side of the ball and hasn't. So I'm just going off what he's said and his own actions. Now apparently someone told me he gave up play calling at USC but who really knows. I guess we'll see what happens in the off-season.

CDC gets literally zero say in any of this lol. He's a mouth piece, that's about it.

I've heard him say it other times even during the off season. He's even said it was the reason he got the job at Texas. I just don't see him giving it up, I've heard him say it too many times. You're also forgetting that Texas still owes him a large buyout and he could easily get another less stressful job if he wants. Just my two cents anyway.

As Hank said, if Sark can't be the play caller he won't be coaching at Texas. He's said numerous times he won't give it up and that it was the reason he got the Texas job.
