  1. We got two weeks to sort out our issues, they got two weeks of getting beat the f*ck up lol.
  2. If they are 1-3 coming into that game, I hope they're prepared to be 1-4.
  3. Hey talk to 'em bro LOL.
  4. Yeah but against Grambling lol. We also didn't look all that impressive against SJSU.
  5. Yes, you're supposed to be WR #1 and he's looked less than impressive two games in. Needs to wake up and make some plays.
  6. I agree with you about the D, PK won't be doing this vanilla ass stuff against better teams, as was shown against Ohio State. It would be nice for us to stamp our authority on lesser teams though, regardless. Was happy to get the W and happy to see some of the boys perform well but overall I don't think anyone would be happy with the sloppiness and laziness we saw in this one. Tough week at practice for these boys, that's for sure.
  7. Yes I agree, I'm not the biggest fan of it but Sark seems to like it, for whatever reason.
  8. That was a very disappointing and unimpressive performance. So many penalties, sloppy play on both sides of the ball. Not much pressure on the QB, not much consistency on O. I won't go on and on, because no one cares about my uninformed opinion but that needs to be cleaned up asap. Glad to get the win, but that type of performance is not on or acceptable.
  9. It was something Gerry was talking about on one of the live streams. I can't recall off the top of my head now, sorry.
  10. He does, but I'm sure Flood and Stroh can see some of his poor plays on film. We'll see how he does moving forward, but for his first start against great competition, I can't say he played poorly. He was good in the run game and pass protection.
  11. Neto also barely played compared to Stroh. I also don't take PFF grades that seriously with how they grade things. Stroh and Baker did great for their first ever start, on the road against the #3 team in the nation and defending national champs. Think you're being overly critical here.
  12. I'm really impressed by what Coach Baker has done in just a few short years at the DL. Not only is he developing/coaching at a high level, he's also recruiting at a high level. Love the '25 class and the '26 class looks very impressive, too. The DL is going to be in great shape moving forward with Coach Baker.
  13. I don't get this "hands to the face rule". Plenty of Ohio State DL had their hands in the face of our OL and no calls, lol.
  14. From what I've seen of neutral people doing break downs, they've all said that guys were open and that the scheme is fine, etc. But Arch has to make the throws. He completely missed wide open guys (Livingstone was open several times for good gains but Arch never saw him) and the guys that were open that he threw to, he had a bunch of really poor throws (first throw of the game and the 3rd down to Wingo, come to mind). Even the missed TD throw to Livingstone, he had Wingo inside on a slant for a TD. Now yes Livingstone should've caught it but the point still stands. Even Sark himself said in hindsight, he would've loved that 4th down play back at the 1. Overall I'm not worried about the play calling now t hat I've seen the break downs of it from people who know ball better than me. Arch was a concern, but his first road start against a D that was throwing out looks to confuse him and get him off rhythm, well I can give him a break on that. He knows he needs to better and he will be. He also made some ridiculous throws. Now he just needs to see the field a bit better, trust his OL and be more consistent.
  15. I'd like to see Gibson and Clark get some reps, see what else is there at RB. Continue easing Baxter back in as he gets himself back up to speed, etc. Same with WR and TE, let Arch open it up and get into his groove.
  16. Honestly with the day he had, to come back and throw some of the passes he did, shows he was starting to get into his own but unfortunately time ran out and he still made some bad throws towards the end. But as people much smarter and knowledgeable than me have said, there was some good mixed in with the bad.
  17. He had to know expectations were high after taking the job from a literal legend of the game, no? I doubt he gets fired, although 8-4 might get some more interesting calls from Bama fans onto Finebaums show lol.
  18. This is just really stupid. You have yourself a great opportunity and you're doing your best to piss it away. Probably won't get kicked off the team, but with Sark there will definitely be a punishment.
  19. That's what Baxter would've been if not for his injury last year. The fact he even played against Ohio State is a damn miracle lol.
  20. Arch is our guy, not sure why people are wanting Sayin over him. Sayin did next to nothing special, he threw that TD pass that wasn't great and if Guilbeau turns around could've probably picked off, if not swatted away. If they had to put the ball in his hands to win them the game, I don't know if he could. Because then you're asking him to do more than you wanted and Texas would've pinned their ears back and gotten after him. Because they would've moved away from 12 personnel and moved back to likely either 11 or 10 personnel.
  21. I think 7 is fair, was expecting not to drop out of the top 10. Not worried about the rankings just go out and do your jobs, uphold the standard and that will take care of itself.
  22. Our guys are fast, did we miss them getting open against an elite secondary? Hell even Endries is fast and Townsend/Washington are good athletes at TE. I agree right now we don't have a speed guy at RB, Baxter still working his way back from injury but he's not that type of guy and Wisner isn't either. I've no idea if Clark could be but he didn't see any action. Plus Manning has some legs. I'm not concerned overall but I did think they could've done better in the portal at WR with what was available but t hey were also in the midst of a playoff run, so it's hard to split your focus like this.
  23. So we should be worried about Florida because they have talented starters but so do we....I understand being "worried" about them but your team now has experience in a hostile environment against great competition. I think the boys will be fine, as long as they execute and be more disciplined. Plus if Ohio State was meant to have this great OL, are we saying Florida has a better one? They have better WR's? They might have a better RB, I'll give them that. Do they have superior LB's and DB's? I'm all for respecting an opponent but this team has already been through a tough road game against a great opponent. If they get rattled on the road against Florida, then they don't deserve to be in the SEC title game or in the playoffs.
  24. Well that and it was rushed, O didn't even get a chance to get set. I know they didn't put a ton of trust in Arch but some bootleg passes wouldn't have killed them, to Endreis. I think Gerry or someone mentioned this a year or so ago, Sark is great between the 20's but once the field condenses he seems to not be able to figure it out. Not all the time, obviously but it is becoming an noticeable trend for his teams.
  25. But can't we say the same? If things click our way, you guys are looking at 21-0 the other way. I wouldn't say it was a domination. Outside of some lucky plays by our O, we shut it down and our O sh*t the bed when we needed them to score. Either way, I'm not going to argue with you. Congrats on the win.
