    To be honest, they've made some good pick ups in the portal. But I don't think it matters when your coaching is sub par.

    I hate that for him man. Hope he can go somewhere and stay healthy. If he had stayed healthy for us, he would've been our AD Mitchell the year before.

    I know A&M had some opt outs and transfers, but my God was that horrible, lol. To USC of all teams, that lost it's fair share, too? Things only going to get worse for Elko.

    I think his buddy went to A&M on the OL? Could be wrong about that. But it wasn't money, because he would've got paid anywhere he went. Maybe just easy playing time? Good relationship with Bedenbaugh?

    Run the ball, until they can stop it. Someone go tell Sark to not get cute. I bet they won't be able to stop it, at all. Just let our big boys get downhill on them and Gibson, Blue and Wisner run all over them. Shouldn't need to pass much, so another game where Ewers just needs to game manage.

    Really good TE, but it's not a massive position of need. More of a cherry on top with some experience. I think Niblack, Washington and Shannon will be the main TE's next year. I think if Shannon comes a long, he can be a huge problem next for opposing teams.

    There is a lot of factors. It "officially" closes on the 28th, but to my understanding you can still sign guys from the portal if they're already in. I believe playoff teams get a grace window after they're eliminated and then we also have to factor in coaches being fired where I think there is a window open there for kids to transfer out. So while we've taken some jabs to the face in the portal, there is still plenty of time to find some dudes.

    Forgot to put, if you could run it down Clemsons throat, you can most definitely run it down Arizona States throat. Run the ball and make them stop it. Don't get cute, stay on top of them and this is an easy first half blow out (imo). They don't have anywhere near the weapons that Clemson does or other teams we've faced this year. The Big 12 is pretty weak. As I said, no home town hero stuff in this one (Klubnik) and Texas is way too talented across the board to lose this, with great coaching on top. I want to see us stay aggressive in the 2nd half this week though. We tend to take our foot off teams throats in the 2nd half for some reason.

    No home town hero stuff in this one, Texas is focused and puts a beat down on the Sun Devils. 30-40 points victory.

    Man we just losing out on every front, lol. That's not a panic or anything hateful, just the truth at the moment. But to be fair, we really don't need a ton in the portal, so it does make sense.

    I can see some of your points, but I think PK would learn to be a little more aggressive with getting pressure like he was in the 1st half vs the 2nd half against Clemson. I'm not worried about MM, he's had one bad game, he wasn't the only one. They'll see it, get it sorted and go take it out on ASU.

    Nah, I don't think he could. I think he'll play really well, like he has most of the season. But I don't think one game of Klubnik playing his best in his home town, is something to get crazy about. These boys will be laser focused from now on. One thing I think Oregon has that we haven't seen in spades, is the sheer overall speed of their O. Their D is really not that great, it would be more to see if we can put the clamps on that speed running all over us.

    I think he let his frustration get to him a bit more than usual. Because he's in good coverage and the ball still gets there. You can see it at the end of that play. I think several of the guys tried to calm him down, but it was already in his head at that point. Find it interesting that no one has mentioned Hill in coverage, he got beat twice for TD's. Once over the top and one where he misread his zone coverage and was sliding over and left the WR or RB wide open for the TD in the endzone.

    Nah not that big of a surprise. They returned a bit from last years really good squad and added a bunch of "move in's" on top of that. They kicked the c rap out of Permian in the 2nd round, looked like our boys were running in slow motion next to them, lol.

    He was but they were also really good throws into windows he couldn't do much. That was part of the frustration we saw from the DB's out there. I think Klubnik was playing his ass off in Austin, where he's from. Not sure QB's are going to play like that every week against us.

    I remember reading that he's had nagging injuries all year, I don't think he's been passed up. I expect him and Burke to share more snaps with Simmons and possibly Umeozulu as the main rotation at Edge.
