Who plays C next year? Cruz? He has no experience and has barely even played. The T's haven't been spectacular either, imo. We'll see what they do, I'm just being pessimistic but I don't think they're going to go after guys in the portal at OL. Hope I'm wrong.

Well I can understand why they were playing off, Miss State has a ton of speed at WR, that our DB's just can't match. But I think Rod.B said it best about them continuing to back peddle after already playing so far off. Not sure if that's on PK or Akina who is in charge of the passing game/coverages, etc. Maybe Orphrey? No idea. Simmons has been rushing the passer more and more, he does occasionally drop into coverage, which I'm not a big fan of. Hill does need to be unleashed more as a pass rusher, that is his strength, imo.

Well, OU's season is still in front of them, we'll see how it plays out for them before we all fire Venables lol. Don't think Lanning would take the OU job but he would succeed there.

OU fan on that tweet "Oh Kiffin really wants the OU job bad, huh?" LOL

I know people seem to think they'll do this in the portal window, but I don't know if they will. It needs to be a priority. Better evals, etc.

@CJ Vogel - Do you think they need to move away from 12 personnel and just go with 10 and 11? Because being in 12 isn't providing much more protection for the QB and they aren't being much of a threat in the passing game either. I know Sark loves 12 personnel but it might be time for him to sideline that for a bit.

Honestly, I think Purdue has a really good HC, the guy from UNLV who had that program humming. Despite their record this year, they look much improved from the past few years.

LSU, welcome to the list.

Lebby is still trying to figure that one out lol.

If we could get Henderson from LSU, that would be crazy. Two 5 star Edges in the same class? That Edge room would be insane lol. Mack would be interesting but probably a stretch. Henderson we were at least in the mix for him weren't we? Brown I think it was between LSU and A&M, if he is to flip, it's probably there. Don't know much about Kent.

I doubt he leaves ND tbh. Easier route to the playoffs, he's got a good Fr QB who he seems to be behind and he's recruiting at a high level. These teams will tempt him, but I think he stats put.

I think Florida. With the game now, they have better NIL, more fertile recruiting ground in Florida, Georgia, the Carolina's, Alabama, etc. LSU is still good but I don't think it's better than Florida right now.

Yeah, I'll be honest, you're just reaching for something that isn't there.

Penn State, imo. Despite what people think of him, he's won more than he's lost in his tenure. I think he fits more at Penn State than he ever did at LSU.

I'll definitely give Elko credit, he's doing a much better job than Jimbo was.

What am I overreacting to? I only gave my opinion....I never said they were the best team in the country, I've just said they've more than proven themselves this year. Anyone can be beat, that doesn't mean they're not good this year.

Plus with the signing days and the portal window now, you need to get ahead of the curve with your hire.

This is my problem, because he would do similar with Ewers and it worked really well. Maybe his scheme isn't that great or doesn't work for this team? Whatever it is, he needs to do more of that type of stuff and help this team.

Speaks well to the future of the DL. I'm kinda excited to see what the DL guys look like next year Charles, Sharma and J.Terry. Paired with January, Watson and possibly Johnson if he sticks around.

Hey according to the rumours, we could be joining the list, what a wild off-season that would be huh?😂

I almost wonder if Kelly would be a guy Penn State is interested in? That place seems more his speed than LSU. The question than becomes, who does LSU go after, if they go that route.

Yeah I saw A&M knife through untouched so much. Reminded me of our OL at times. Nuss took some brutal hits.

Yep I love how people act like they'll just come to Texas lol.

I'll be honest, they've more than proven it already. They're improved from last year, they added well in the portal and are playing at a high level. Won't matter if we play them in Austin or not, that is going to be an extremely tough game to win.

Are we sure they're going to go in the portal for OL?
