  1. It won't be illegal July 1 in many states.
  2. Unless money is changing hands now, and would have to be repaid to flip. I think that's what may be different for Texas this year. Coming in late may not work as well.
  3. It's only been about 9.5 months since the surgery. He's on track if he's doing a little work with basic agility. But that part takes a while too. I've been through this process myself twice (with ACLs) and did a LOT of reading about rehab. Baxter didn't just have an ACL tear, though. He tore both the ACL and PCL. I don't know for sure, but he likely had some meniscus damage and maybe even bone damage. It was a bad injury. Report from SI on surgery
  4. I think this is wishful thinking. It wouldn't surprise me if Baxter missed the whole year. His injury was really bad, and his rehab will be at least 14 months. Maybe he plays in November/December if we're in contention for a championship.
  5. That's a lousy graphic. I can barely see the dates.
  6. I don't see Deion interested in coaching outside of being a part of his sons' experiences.
  7. Yeah, but that is a lot of work each time. They could just put the rating here:
  8. Agreed. I just wish their player rating was listed on the recruiting page with each player. There's a spot for it, but it isn't used.
  9. @Gerry Hamilton When I look at those, no one is rated. All the stars are just empty. What am I missing?
  10. 2 5-star players 1 4-star player 8 3-star players I know it's early, and rankings aren't everything, but that's not what I was expecting this class to look like.
  11. Took less than half a second to figure that out.
  12. Compare to 5 years ago. Crazy turnaround.
  13. That Gatorade bottle looks like a thimble.
  14. Can we pinch hit for Flores? He's not really done anything.
  15. Who else are we recruiting at TE? Seems like we've put a lot of eggs in Bowman's basket.
  16. I first read that and thought, "wow, did we fall apart that badly?" It took me a minute.
  17. It was so mentally tough. Physically it was challenging, make no mistake. The strength and range of motion can take so long to get back to 100%. And the confidence to really go all-out takes even longer. But it's the mental part that is the most challenging. It's just you vs. yourself every day for nearly a year. You have to want it so bad. You can't fake it or half-ass your work, or you'll never make it.
  18. I had 2 ACL's and went through rehab and recovery twice. It is a grind that no one else really sees. This is great work.
  19. Well, we won the SEC All-sports Trophy in the first year. So that's a pretty good way to walk into a room. We clinched it even before the baseball team won the conference title. Tennessee had won 3 of the past 4, but we dethroned them pretty easily.
