I found the answer. The last time Texas defeated an opponent who was favored over them was Alabama in 2003, and that game was also on the road. We were favored over Aggy in both 2024 and 2025.

Littleton was already thinking two plays ahead. That's the kind of situational awareness coaches love. The best part is he trusted the offense enough to think, "We'll get the points anyway." I would hate to be a 2 loss team with Georgia still on my schedule. We were in that position last year. They’ve been playing by far the best ball in the country lately.

This is what I've been saying all along. This night game at LSU is shaping up to be just like that UGA game last year and we know how that turned out. If we had won that game we were in despite the bad Florida loss. If we lose to a 3-loss LSU team on Saturday night, then those losses to two unranked teams become paramount in the eyes of the committee when they are trying to be fair in those final rankings. Remember, only 7 open slots are available, after the 5 auto qualifiers, and ND will get one of those, leaving only six slots open. That is where records come in, and if last year is any indication, records matter no matter what conference you are in. Unfortunately, it took us 3 weeks after our bye week in October to wake up and that might cost us again this year. Saturday night is our playoff season.
