I think we are over selling the line’s arrival at this point. We were meh game 1. Robertson still can’t displace (well, we simply don’t push people off regularly) and we had several whiffs. Comparing to last year or highlighting 1 strong quarter out of 8 isn’t the litmus. That’s the lowest bar. Our best running also coincided with a worn out defense. We don’t have a feel for osu’s dline yet in 2026 to know what we measured against. Exponentially better than last year but people still greatly underestimate how poorly we played. It was bad. Not average or slightly under. Adding Cole didn’t make it even average, it simply stopped the unfettered sieve. It is encouraging to be sure and I’m super excited to learn their mean vs their floor/ceiling but it’s too emphatic and/or declarative an article after game 2. Before the binary folks jump in, we could have had a tougher game and it’d still be too early. By ou we should know who we are. 🤘🏽

Spetic is on my list too - until he isn’t. Kickoffs are in the end zone, and all chalk on FGs and XPs.

He is good .

Arch was much better in first half than most of us give him credit for. He had what should have been 2 long TD passes dropped. His numbers and the game would have looked much different if they catch those. But what fun is that? Would not have that fourth quarter thriller and have too many of our fan base on chats firing Arch and our coaches at halftime. .

The Film Guy is a Georgia homer but I like his work.

Yep, they’re the ones I got from UT; I thought it was weird that we hadn’t heard anything at all about tickets this close, so I went to both my SeatGeek and TM accounts to see if I had any tickets in either one and there they were in the latter.

Yes that was the wording. I don't mind that but was just saying that he said we got baseball commits.

The era of the non-mobile quarterback is eroding quickly. The defenses are too big and fast. You better have mobility as a quarterback or you will pay a very heavy price.

Not a bad week for CFB with some undefeateds at stake #22 Coogs at #13 Tech(-7.5): I like Tech to win and cover, but man, I do have a lot of confidence in Willie Fritz. It is doable, but I will go with Tech UNC at Clemson(-3.5): Both unranked, but interesting because Clemson/Dabo could be the beginning of a spiral. #16 SMU at 23 Louisville(-1.5): Don't know, my brain says Louisville, but SMU could be legit MSU at S Carolina: both 2-0, I will go with the hot hand QB at MSU, even though Beamer the better coach Florida at Auburn: Yawn. I won't really be watching but, Florida is the on everybody's radar. I'll take Fla MSU at #3 ND(-29.5): Both undefeated-ND Rolls #7 LSU(-3) at #8 Ole Miss: Gameday will be there and I'll take LSU all the way. Who do you guys have? Who will you be watching?

Not exactly a hidden gem but I've been very pleased with Melvin Siani's play. We have two dominant tackles now, plus Baker gets to plug the hole at guard.

Texas Baseball Picks Up 2028 Commitment
HonkEm replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
That’s a good question. There’s been a lot of talk about changing the draft rules, but nothing has actually been approved or scheduled yet. MLB and the MLBPA have discussed the idea of pushing high‑school players toward college or the minors first, but it’s still just a proposal at this point. I don't know where this stands at this point. Believe @Blake Munroe would know. So for now(i think), clubs can still draft straight out of high school, and a prospect like Klug would be eligible the same way every other prep player is. If the league ever does move forward with that rule, it’ll change the calculus for kids with his kind of size and velocity, but don't think we’re not there yet. -
His name is Secks Havington sir, plz put some respect on that name lol
