If he catches that ball vs Ohio state the talk is a lot different about him. Say what you want about his blocking, we didn’t pay him millions to block. AD was a poor blocker too. Hopefully he can improve with his physicality but I think he’ll have a great year as long as our OL holds up and if Arch plays good.

The best rushing offense Texas has faced so far...

GJ please come call plays. Please.... -
It's Texas State, and it's hard to argue against that being the case. The Bobcats ran for 503 yards and had 716 yards of total offense in a 66-27 win over Colorado State last night. Of the five offenses Texas has faced this season, Texas State's 161 yards in the season opener are the most the Longhorns have allowed. That's also the Bobcats' season-low.

He's a great guy but I'd love for him to just say F it and see how many yards LWC can get in a game. Give him as many carries as possible and let him put 100+ points on the board. Something like LaMelo Ball 92 points in high school basketball game cause he was cherry picking.

How does Cam Coleman’s start at Texas compare to Adonai Mitchell and Matthew Golden? All three arrived with high expectations out of the transfer portal. Through his first five games, Coleman has 17 catches for 318 yards and five touchdowns on 30 targets. That puts him just three yards behind Mitchell’s five-game total, with more touchdowns than either Mitchell or Golden had at that point. The graphic below breaks down each receiver’s first five games at Texas, including targets, catches, yards and touchdowns. How do those numbers line up with your impression of Coleman’s start?

24-team playoff nearly a reality
AustinsTruth replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I would say requiring teams to play 10 (or even 11) "Power 4" games is all for show. Let's be honest, ACC, Big 12 and Big 10 have about 10 decent teams combined. Playing Purdue, Colorado, etc. is not actually much easier than Boise, Tulane, Oklahoma State, etc. The power 4 is simply an illusion. I'd take 3 or 4 AAC teams over about half of the Big 12 and ACC at this point. -

The Texas Defense Finishing Games

Two perfect throws and catches in a row. Tip your hat. -
How did Wyoming only score 13 against that bunch? Oof,

I know the general sentiment has been that you don't change coordinators (even special teams) in the middle of the season. That being said, imagine if Florida makes a big play on special teams again this week. Now imagine that somehow that special teams play makes the game close. I am not sure the firestorm from fans (and donors) would allow for Banks to stay in charge of special teams (at least officially). Surely the odds of giving up a ST touchdown three games in a row is beyond miniscule, but somehow it doesn't feel like it would be shocking?

He looks a lot bigger than when he was at UT.
