Tough All Day (episode 1)
Dawson Yarbrough replied to Bobby Burton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
It was a nice look behind the curtain. I think it was Coach Becton who said “last year should not sit right with you” hopefully the whole team feels this way. Great video! -
Jeff just said he loves me got it

Our friends at LHN put this video out yesterday. It’s season 2, episode 1 of Tough All Day. https://watch.longhornnetwork.com/video/993196

Briles at Texas in alternative universe
Jeff Howe replied to Quinncent McManning, Jr.'s topic in On Texas Football Forum
I've always believed that to be the crux of it. There's at least a kernel of truth there. -
When one door closes, another opens. I would've liked to have landed on the OTF team under different circumstances, but I'm thankful every day that I'm here and that I get to be a part of what we're building. I love the community and the support we've received. Without you, there is no us.

Congrats Guys. 🤘🏻 Now if we could get some OTF T-shirts 😁

Briles at Texas in alternative universe

It would be nice to have a comprehensive breakdown on what went wrong with the end of Mack Brown's tenure and the subsequent sh*t show that followed. Whenever something is brought up like not going after certain QBs like Hurts, Luck, Barrett and I can go on, the curtain opens just enough but then abruptly closes. How did Texas get it so wrong for so long? With the hiring of Patterson to Charlie Strong to Tom Herman, things were bad. Hell, Chris Warren the other day on X was saying he was surprised they won any game in 2017 because how dysfunctional things were behind the scenes. That's crazy 😬 -
Yall are truly the best in the business, there is no question. What this community provides for Texas fans, is top notch and is matched nowhere else. Hats off to each of you for your hard work, as all the recognition and accolades are well deserved. Best team in the game! 🔥

And not only do we get a new pair of paring knives with our subscription, we also get the best University of Texas basketball writer in the business, Gerry Hamilton. (Maybe that entitles JoeyZura to a second pair of paring knives, but, really, who cares?)

Don’t forget the most important…Mayo corndogs 🤢🤪🤘🐂

Thanks for your contributions, Marcus. I hope we didn’t get you mauled in your boxing class 🤣I was laughing so hard! -
We are a faithful and loyal band of followers of OTF! Why? Because the hard work, content, guests, updates, player interviews, Gerry's encyclopedic knowledge of future players is second to none, and the hustle by the new, young reporters is exceptional. We love all things about Texas sports and OTF is always in the forefront of providing us with rich material to read, ponder, and see!

Agree with all except Saban thing, I don’t think you realize how close that was to materializing. Mack blew that sh*t up. -
That applies to two of the other sites.

When was Briles’ last extension in Waco, and did it coincide with him “turning down” the Texas job. -

Can't say "Saban or Briles" in the same sentence. Really can't say "Saban or anyone else" in the same sentence. Frankly, the best coaching job in the B12 for a run of several years was by the 40 year old man [I'm a man] with the mullet. The most successful coach was the chinless one at our rival. There were a dozen better choices than Charlie apparent to the naked eye. None of them were Saban, who wasn't coming. None of them were Bob Stoops. None of them were the mullet. All of them would have likely been more successful than Charlie; maybe even very successful. Patterson was the wrong choice as AD. Leave it at that. -
