  1. Past hour
  2. Texas may only win 6-7 games this year with how bad this offense is. If you can scored 24+ on Texas they’re in serious trouble and Arch is now a liability.
  3. I don’t think this is all on Arch. A big part of the issue is how Sark is using him. Last year Arch was much more dangerous as a dual-threat QB through the first five games he had about 160 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs. This year he’s around 100 yards with no rushing TDs. That’s a significant change in how defenses have to account for him. Against a defense like Oklahoma that blitzes heavily, I thought Texas would use more QB movement, RPOs, zone read and designed runs to punish that aggression. Instead, Arch spent a lot of time being asked to sit in the pocket and process pressure, which is probably the weakest part of his game When the offense keeps going three-and-out, the defense is right back on the field. Texas having stretches where they couldn’t sustain drives, their defense started wearing down combined with Arches two brutal fourth-quarter mistakes. I think the bigger question is whether Sark is tailoring the offense to what Arch does best right now or trying to force him into the quarterback he wants him to become. To me, defenses are not having to defend all of him. You would think that sark what design six 6 or eight purposeful carries, more movement of the pocket, more RPOs and fewer static obvious-passing situations and that would make the entire offense harder to defend.
  4. Spot the difference? Accountability vs ego.
  5. Roughing the passer can be called in favor of anyone passing the ball vertically. It doesn’t have to be just for the QB. In this case it was called because of Biles hit on Sategna following his throw.
  6. I see the 4th and 2 call two different ways. 1) You don’t get the 1st down, then you question why you didn’t let your kicker who historically has a big leg give you the lead 2) You miss the FG, and wonder why you didn’t just go for it and make sure you have the last possession after a 1st down I personally wanted to go for it, but I get the call either way. Hindsight is 20/20.
  7. At the end of the day Sark you’re the leader. You have got to accept responsibility for this loss all of it. You had a bye to prepare. We have a lot of Lamborghini and rolls Royce players but the offense is running like a minivan. You need a guy up in the booth calling plays his vantage point is so much better. This about the team not about egos. Prideful coaches destroy programs example Dabo Swiney.
  8. Look, I don't know which play you are referring to but I'm questioning the following trick play... Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer threw a legal backward lateral to wide receiver Isaiah Sategna. Sategna was just a receiver catching a lateral... and therefore NCAA Rule 9-1-9 (Roughing the Passer) explicitly does not apply.
  9. Bryce doesn't have much to do with Sark. Palmer? Please. That's like saying Leinart.
  10. Carson Palmer and Bryce Young 😂😂
  11. In upset too, but season is long from over. Maybe this was the wake up call we needed.
  12. Which is completely the opposite of what happened vs. Ohio St. Also that's not "all gas no brakes" that's no gas all brakes.
  13. Do you think CDC would ever go the Ombudsman route ???
  14. Mateer had a handful of good plays. Hopefully CJ did not catch a bon-er.....
  15. All of those points are valid, especially Cooper. They ran inside/mid zone with split flow from the tight end on that series before halftime and I don’t remember seeing it in the second half. I’ve gotten on Sark for his sequencing and rhythm as a play-caller and it’s still a problem. He doesn’t play the hits enough and there are too many calls that just don’t make sense. They’re not set up by something else and it’s not building on something. Your play-action passing game works a lot better when you stick with the run or run it effectively. I just don’t get it. With Arch, he made two mistakes you can’t make. Period. You can’t turn the ball over in that manner, especially the one on the last drive.
  16. He not. Everything thinks bc he’s sent QBs to the league he’s a guru, but how many of his QBs have actually done ANYTHING in the league? Name me just 1
  17. The last two that Sark has lost to OU it has been because of him playing to not lose. In ‘24 we had a 3rd and 9 in plus territory with less than two minutes to go. Quinn was 23 of his last 24. We ran the ball and kicked a field goal. This year we have a 4th and 2 or a 52 yard field goal. Trust your unit and play to win. You can’t win this game playing passive. You have to play to win or you get punished
  18. Listen to sark at his presssr. He isn’t going to make changes at all. lol he thinks ST is good haha.
  19. It was asked earlier in the season: If not now, when? Great defensive and terrific talent everywhere. When do we bench Arch? What if we let KJ take the reins? Arch isn’t ready to move on to the NFL, and KJ can’t sit another year. What if KJ could show his mettle now with the offensive talent, and Arch continues to learn his craft and compete with Dia next year.
  20. Agree. Cooper was POUNDING the rock on that one drive and we just gave up on him? Dumb. I've seen Sark go away what is working in the run game way too many times.
  21. I'm not sure I'd call it a major rebuild. More of a major reload
  22. So there cannot be roughing on a flea flicker where the QB pitches it back and then it’s pitched back to him? Of course there can. Sorry, you are wrong.
  23. Sark is soft. Kirby is intense similar to Saban. Teams take on the personality of their HC.
  24. We are a year and almost half in. I think he is who he is.
