No check is made to a inside zone or run in general even though their box was outmatched Is there no check in place for that? Does Arch not have that freedom? Worse, is he not seeing it? (This happened multiple times throughout the game)

He was serviceable today. Did he make some bonehead plays? Yes. But by definition of the word servicable, he was exactly that today. He was serviceable and mediocre. Different to be mediocre against UTSA at home and to be mediocre against Tennessee (probably a top 5 defense in the country) at Tennessee while having no running game. The times Arch had any sort of running game we moved the ball at will. More awareness, play smarter, be better against the blitz. All of that. More than fair. But I see quite a lot of over reactions.

I don’t see how SEC avoided a mess. This is just 1 missed call in a series of MANY missed calls. They should still have to answer for the mistakes made by refs that seemed corrupt during the game.

I get it . But criticism is warranted within reason of course. We have a lot to work on. But 4-0 is awesome. I think we just all want a real chance to win it all. And frankly right now nowhere close imo. But a long way to go. As far as the gestures they were wrong and bad. By Simmons and Brown. Simmons has apologized and will learn. If a Tennessee player did that to us what would be the reaction? Never let somebody take away your passion. We all can agree to disagree. Imagine being OU right now😂

Sark definitely has flaws. Who knows if he can win it all. But man this is still more fun than before him. Also. Never go full Ketch. Come on man.

Had Tennessee won the game the NCAA would release multiple statements. The last statement would have included “ yes they broke the rules, yes Texas should be the winner, but Tennessee won.”

TL;DR: Winning is supposed to be fun, a lot of yall are making it miserable cause you're anxious about whether Texas will get it done this year or not We can critique and not be miserable and not go overboard with the "analysis", if we can even call it that Love this team but god are some of yall making it hard to follow *any* content regarding Texas football with your negativity This doesn't really have anything to do with OTF, although I'll say that clearly some fans are not smart enough to pick up on the nuance of the analysis done by some people at OTF

Problem is he was mediocre against UTSA. When you come off a “mediocre game” and have another one that’s not good. I don’t have Arch at the expectations many others have had since he was signed. I am just wanting him to be consistently serviceable.

That's kind of my point tho. I already don't look at youtube chat but I'd like to watch coffee & football on monday morning after a big win in Neyland against a top 15 team (And a top 5 defense, let's be honest about their talent) and rejoice in Texas being 4-0... instead all I get is frustrated people projecting their anxieties onto everyone else. The problems are clear for this Texas team, no need to overboard and be miserable.

Apparently, it was, by rule, an illegal kick. Thankfully, Texas won the game and the SEC avoided a mess.

It's everywhere. Just saw someone call the QB "Brain dead". Youtube chat is a hell hole. Twitter is even worse. Winning is supposed to be fun. There's a lot of people in the Texas fanbase that make it miserable.

Everyone is talking about he should have checked out of plays at the LOS. To his defense, I don’t know how much he would be able to do that in that kind of environment and as loud as it is there. Like I said earlier, we are going to see what we saw today from defenses the rest of way or until we start burning it. We need to work on blitz/pressure beaters. We have alot of guys that are dangerous in space we need to find a way to get it to them. Do that enough and the run game will come back around. They got analysis from a ton of back grounds. Figure it out

That was an embarrassing move by Simmons. I wonder if he gets reprimanded. The D was truly outstanding, and the O sputtered again. Coaches need to drill the players about all of those penalties.
