  1. Past hour
  2. I do not like this one bit. It doesn’t seem fair to the other colleges, college athletes, the fans, or the rule makers. That being said, I still pray for the young man’s soul. That’s more important than how many football games he plays.
  3. Let’s discuss Texas Tech destroying the integrity of ALL sports. Should parents and coaches want their kids and players playing for Joey McGuire who has destroyed the integrity of game?
  4. He can do what he wants as long as he helps OTF keep the lights on. Don't have to like him or support him for that. Let him spend his money for our enjoyment and just know you will never actually use him for anything.
  5. I don't think texas is playing fully by the book. They may be saying that publically but there have been things that make me feel like texas been playing outside the lines as well. 1)Hollywood Smothers transferring after signing and enrolling at Alabama. B) Players entering the portal with no contact clauses and signing with texas almost immediately. 4) Texas is one of the biggest spenders out there. if they were playing by the book, they would stick to the $20M number.
  6. IF Texas lands Torres, likely either she or Martinez moves to 2nd, that's as good a middle defense as you can get with Henry covering CF behind them.
  7. No doubt, they’ve completely turned to the dark side. Corrupted by envy and short sighted thinking, led by a hypocritical billionaire and former player right off the cliff.
  8. I"m glad he made it to his happy place!
  9. Sadly addicts relapse. Wait until that happens.
  10. He is currently watching the Minnesota vs Wisconsin game right now
  11. Cockroaches don’t have souls.
  12. Cody has his check ready
  13. I think Tech has lost its soul.
  14. Texas States Azua fits that’s bill I’m fairly certain.
  15. We have the best lefty in the game, she just happens to throw right handed.
  16. I hope Lubbock PD has an Organized crime unit. If they thought they didn’t need one before they certainly will need one now. Texas Tech as an institution has invited the biggest crime syndicates on campus and into all their student athletes lives with their actions on this. From the UPs mouth to their AD to their coach and now their players. If you don’t think the Mob, mafia and every major crime syndicate isn’t looking at Texas tech athletes as sitting ducks to pay to throw games and make them money you aren’t using your head. it will happen. Already has in college basketball. Wouldnt be surprised if Texas authorities aren’t already monitoring Sorsby and Tech athletes already.
  17. Has anyone checked on @Bobby Burton? He looked like he was going to explode this morning.
  18. A sad day for Sports and specifically Team Sports. In a legal manner (which is where this ended) this is an "eligibility" issue and there has been many cases contesting "eligibility"; such as, Red Shirt, Waivers, Transfers through The Portal, Grades and even conflicts with law enforcement, etc. With this news today, why not bring Patrick Mahommes back?. He has won NFL MVPs and Super Bowls., so what is left there for him? TTU and Campbell can find a judge and hey, the next thing you know Mahommes is suiting up and playing in Lubbock. I mean, why not? That would be an "eligibility" issue which The NCAA does not have a winning record in cases let alone enforcement. There are no longer any lines in College Football. None. A sad day!!!
  19. Need to add a lefty starter pitcher.
  20. Idk if it’s real but Eric Henry says Texas is a major player for Isa Torres. We’ll see what happens but if Texas pulls Torres off the market and lands Swan they may get a perfect season next year.
  21. Torres is definitely not at a positon of need but it would be more of a “best player available” situation. Swan would be much more of a positional fit on the roster, to lead a position group of younger catchers in Wallace, South, and Clemmer. Stewart can catch too if needed but I think the staff likes her more at first.
  22. Yeah, Loewy is a piece of work, that's for sure. Not the good kind either.
  23. The only way that schools will be able to protect college athletics is to form a new league that excludes Texas Tech this fall. The entire college sports landscape ends if the 2026-2027 season includes players known to have bet on their own teams. It will essentially become pro wrestling. Sure there will be some fans, but outcomes will not be competitive. And OTF needs a new sponsor if their attorney is defending the killing of college sports.
  24. Yawn. Tech is for losers.
