Nike / UT sneakers for sale - men’s US 11.0 & 12.0
Brad Beatty replied to Brad Beatty's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Those are the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 V6 amp. 723939-800. Never worn. $110 MSRP. They're from 2015 - have just been sitting in my collection since then. Texas does custom colorways w/ logos for the big schools with their amp shoes - so there are Ohio State, Oregon, etc versions floating around out there, too. These are Charlie Strong era - maybe you've blocked it out of your mind 🙂 I'd do like $50 + ship if you're interested on those. -
Trying to put together as many AH as they can.

Have to go back to 2023? We gave up 31 (wash), 24 (Houston) and 34 (OU). All games with a better offense we win. I’m not a PK lover but his unit largely performed - his late game defense was frustrating but not as much as Sark’s zero point halves.

Throw the Notre Dame AD out of the decision-making process. Stop treating that place like it's special because it's definitely not

OU’s #3 WR trying to flex
Dread-headed Texan replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Calls change from year to year even as much as game to game. WRs are on a choice route tree with strict rules. So you can literally call the same play four times consecutively and it'll be different depending on the defensive front and defensive backfield alignment. So even switching schools Parker doesn't have any more information of this year's scheme that isn't already on tape. -
Bobby - any idea what is captured in the restrictive NIL language? Not sure how you can restrict legit nil. Generally UT is going to be in a good position with legit nil due to size of Austin, UT brand in Texas and nationally. Hopefully this would get rid of schools that are calling crap nil that is really pay for play.

I'm not against a bill. NIL, the portal, enforcement, that stuff needs a federal fix. You can't run college sports under 50 different state laws with nobody able to actually enforce anything. But we started out trying to fix that, and now Congress is setting spending caps, deciding who's allowed to expand, and rewriting how TV rights can be pooled. That's not cleanup anymore. At that point they're writing the operating manual for the whole sport, with everybody in the room lobbying for their own piece. And the funny part is the SEC and Big Ten opposed the committee bill and now look like they're getting a lot of what they wanted anyway. Not exactly shocking. Those two conferences cover 26 states, that's 52 senators, and you need 60. If a compromise ends the chaos, fine, I'll take it. I just can't shake the feeling that we're not fixing college sports so much as creating the next mess we'll all be back here arguing about in five years.

Where recruiting services rank John Meredith III in 2026
Hank South replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I still see Texas in the 7-8 range with 247 and Rivals. ESPN's class rankings is hard to navigate but it certainly moves Texas up. -

Bobby, I don't recall the chaos on the sidelines during the Vandy game. Can you expound on this point?
