  1. Past hour
  2. I don't believe that. I don't believe he even had to pay them. He just opened up his arms and said, "How can I help you?" and they came to Missouri. You don't have to recruit, Gerry, when you can be your authentic self and show people you care about them. That's what he said and I 100% believe that. I remember talking to a guy about rizzing and I told him I don't play games, and he said, "That's the oldest game there is."
  3. I did get a good laugh about his NIL comment Has 2 5-star freshmen and ripped Bryson Tiller (NBA draft pick) from Kansas. With ripping Mark Mitchell back from Kentucky … he’s over 10-11 mill on 4 players alone
  4. Today
  5. Much like Colin Simmons being credited with an extra half sack against Tennessee, Ramsay Gary has been credited with an extra dig against Arkansas. That ties her for the match record for digs at 34, the highest dig total for a 4 set match, and the highest regardless in the rally era. "It’s the highest single‑match total in program history, tied with Sandra Reboucas’ 34 digs vs. Baylor in 1999. Gary became the first Texas libero to reach 30+ digs since 1999, a span of 800 matches."
  6. Everything about this play was disappointing. We snapped the ball with 17 seconds left on the play clock with a running game clock. Plenty of time to check out of this.
  7. I don't mean this in a bad way, Gerry - he's a good coach - but he comes off as kind of a meathead.
  8. 10 personnel would eat that secondary up - good post. Truth.
  9. Feisty. Thanks for the heads up. I doubt I would have listened to the Missouri SEC media day otherwise. Not in a bad way, either. Dude said his piece without rancor. Basically said as long as he's punching above the NIL weight of his program, which he indicated doesn't even compare to his SEC cohorts, he's doing a good job. That Mark Mitchell eligibility case is as important as any of these in determining a program's ceiling. With him back they're a different monster entirely. They can be good without him, but they're young and not as physical on defense as they need to be. He's the true post presence that they won't really have otherwise.
  10. ESPN: Ranking college football's best 60 receivers of the last 50 years https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50175757/ranking-college-football-best-receivers-jeremiah-smith
  11. I feel like Cryer turned down the wrong choice there. But I’m not in the room so I don’t know for sure.
  12. Great read Jeff. One thing that I have noticed about Coach, Jeff, is his inflexible approach to his talent on campus. What I mean is this: if you know that the players consistently under-perform in a certain offensive set or with a certain play - shy away from that. Look at stats and coach to win games, not to see if they can all run the plays without mistakes. 10 personnel yielded some great yardage, infuse play calls with more of this. Give the players confidence to produce then try the things they are poor at. Just my humble opinion.
  13. Now do OU record in first 5 years Mack 2-3 and 0-3 against stoops with 1 blowout loss, Sark 3-2 and 3-1 against Venables with 3 blowout wins and 2 others that should’ve been wins.
  14. Why are y'all questioning Banks? Sark already told you to look at how Niblett made ST great last year and that is all because of Banks ST schemes. Case is closed. Do any of you feel like a child that is being distracted before getting an injection-Don't look here at what you know is happening, look over there.
  15. At the end of half, Sark took a timeout and allowed OU to catch their breath instead of pounding the rock again on 3rd down and making a decision on a 4th if necessary. The insertion of Raleek on the 2nd down play on goal to go didn't make any sense to me either....not his strength. Then we throw a fade ball coming out of the timeout which has to be one of the lowest percentage plays in all of football. Was just a really awful end sequence to a great drive. It's like Sark didn't even give the team a chance to be physical multiple times in the game. Was just brutal.
  16. Mack Brown. 53-16 Conference championships. 0 Sark. 52-21 Conference Championship 1 Many wanted to move on from Mack too. Not sure if Sark will win big bit I found this comparison interesting.
  17. The punter could have stepped back a few feet also. Why was he moved up. I hadn't seen the formation until now. What a mess.
  18. One thing about Saban is that his coaching tree is full of great head coaches kicking butt right now.
  19. Oats is probably looking for a former G league felon to add to the roster.
  20. I thought it was just thought the last few years was sped up and was hoping the 23 Texas game would have been in here and no muschamp was disappointing but overall i enjoyed it
  21. Dennis Gates today ... it was a little interesting
