  1. Past hour
  2. we gotta wrap the helicopter in burnt orange
  3. Swindle is playing 9-5 Texas
  4. That was my first thought too, but I think Quinn might have better BGO than Sorrell.
  5. I was actually one of the few who liked the hire. I'd seen what he had done at Washington and knew he could replicate that maybe even better at Texas. I was actually surprised he took the Texas job considering most people said he probably wouldn't leave Washington. Think it just showed how poorly Herman had built his roster.
  6. I've been curious to do a deep dive on this. How many schools are impacted by the required sports. It is very few. And I'd argue Football should be included as a required sport as well. Only 6 schools would be impacted by that change.
  7. I wish the NBA and the WNBA adopts what Unrivaled does for their all game. Instead of playing a meaningless game, they play a one on one tournament with money on the line.
  8. I do wish the major sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, track and field, volleyball etc would have a champions game where the two champions played for ultimate supremacy at the end of each season. It would be very eye opening to see that head to head competition I think.
  9. Lexi Hull is going to get a pay raise this off season
  10. Yesterday
  11. It doesn’t. I was just responding to the original premise that Texas Tech is going to win the Kavian Bryant recruit because they negatively recruited Quinn Ewers draft position.
  12. Does it really matter then if it’s business decisions and NIL? Who cares if it’s a HS prospect or a portal prospect.
  13. Your one letter typo completely changed the meaning of your thread title.
  14. All Tech needs to do is point to Mahomes and Cody Campbell’s wallet.
  15. Some of us can’t “miss” something we could never dream of doing lol.
  16. Brother, you can try to convince yourself otherwise but most of these decisions are money driven. Miami is going to try to tell a HS QB to not trust Texas’ development when Miami has had to go to the portal 3 straight years for a QB? Before Sayin, Ohio State had 3 straight cycles where they QB signee transferred. None of these schools have pristine track records. It’s college football. Trying to say Texas had a QB “only” go in the 7th round of the NFL draft is a waste of time.
  17. It’s actually 7.2 coverage snaps per target. I fixed it.
  18. I've said it before: I don't get the Mateer hype. Most of the the OTF guys buy it. You watch him meander around and make a play every once and while and think what's so great. The criminals have yet to play a high level team. The refs literally gave them the Auburn game. It sure as heck wasn't Mateer lighting it up. Gonna need to show some receipts here in the not too distant future.
  19. Definitely not saying Tech can/will use that but Ohio State, Miami (Ward/Beck), Alabama, and any other top school can/will pull that card
  20. i would put Arch up against Mateer in Red River Rivalry. Arch will out play him the next two years . “ Hookem “ Doubtful Mateer will score on our Defense. 💥
  21. I hope they hire Bill Belecheck away from UNC!
  22. The crazy thing is I was dunking at 5'9" in the 8th grade at 45 I'm lucky to just be able to slap the backboard. For some reason or another your head tells you that you can still do it, your body says have the ambulance on standby🤣
  23. I would want Texas to beat them at full strength
  24. Thanks for correcting me and not letting me stay wrong🤘🏿
  25. This is going to sound crazy, but a lot of Florida's failures are on Lagway. Yeah, sometimes Billy can get in his own way with some of his calls or not relying on his running game. I've watched all of Florida's games at least twice and Lagway and his decision making have been awful.
