  1. Past hour
  2. I think the context was a question about Arch holding onto the ball too long looking for that deep shot explosive play and was that a smart strategy. I think he thinks those deep shot explosive plays are his "stinger." They make the defense have to respect it and account for it.
  3. A wasp keeps its stinger after it stings and keeps stinging. A bee loses its stinger and dies after using it. Maybe he should say be more like a wasp and less like a bee? And a "Texas Stinger" sounds like a $1 shot at any dive bar. Maybe Titos vodka, lime, and jalapeno juice?
  4. Wingo end around? That’s literally the only consistently successful play we have on offense.
  5. Miami is what most people are saying
  6. Man your reading comprehension sucks. This was not AI's opinion either. It was a synthesis of opinions of others in the college football business. It's drawn from rankings, SM, articles on the subject, etc. That's why I said #5 is going to shock you. For whatever reason, some people out there think Flood is a good offensive coordinator.
  7. The only stinger I had heard of was what Bobby mentioned which is a hit that rattles you. Then there's also this guy...
  8. A bee or hornet or wasp I wish I knew
  9. Edge/back to the wall mentality. If not that, not sure what it is but the OL is definitely the wasp spray that will kill our stinger.
  10. We talked about this on C&F this morning ... Sark talks about not losing their "stinger" on offense. 1.) What do you think a "stinger" is? 2.) What is Texas' stinger?
  11. Five star WR has us in his final three with Florida and the U and announcing Thursday. Any reason for optimism? @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton
  12. Good message in the OP but it can devolve too easily. So I’m locking this, not deleting it.
  13. AI doesn’t have ball knowledge. AI still says Kyle Flood is a top 5 OC. How could you possibly trust that over anyone who watches CFB. The data is skewed
  14. Why do we feel the need to insert politics in every part of life? I come to the message boards to b*tch about Kyle Flood, I don’t come here to be lectured about voting. Shut up and post about Texas Athletics or Texas Athletics-related content (and don’t tell me voting is “athletics related” it’s not).
  15. Why is this on a football board?
  16. This right here is where it’s at. Some guys are perfect matches in a system/for a coach. wish we had that….
  17. Today
  18. pretty sure this board is some people's main news source so
  19. Scroll to second pic https://www.instagram.com/p/DfQeKQoEWOj/?img_index=2&mdxt=MWZwdWd3aXNmZjVjeA==
  20. That was a synthesis of all list, articles, ranking services, and SM opinions on the reputations of current offensive coordinators in college. That was not my list. I don't even know who most of those guys are. Again, I'll take the AI comprehensive search and compilation over your single source (yourself) opinion any day.
  21. Indiana, Oregon, Texas, and Michigan do not have top 12 offenses. All teams have been relying on defense to win games. Im not even sure Michigan has scored 25 this year. Thus why I say that list is terrible. Oregon just fired their OC because he was terrible. Texas is obviously terrible. Indiana is so mid they benched Hoover.
  22. Good luck with that. Everyone should vote, agree on that. Early voting the way to go.
  23. I’m not sure if this was worth the post on a football message board😅
  24. but you know they do boy, bringing the big guns on that couch and keyboard
  25. I like to say if you don't vote, you can't complain about things.
  26. I'd love to talk politics with the board, but that's not the point here. Reminder - it's Election Day here in the USA. This is the 2nd most important Election Day in the 4-year cycle. Whether you're happy with your local, state and national politicians or not -- please exercise your right to vote. You may be thinking I don't like any of the candidates in the senate or (maybe) gubernatorial election. Ok - write someone in or leave that portion of the ballot blank. (If you live in Nevada you can vote for 'none of the above'). Even if you're just angry at the national or state level races - I'm certain there are local candidates or initiatives that *will* impact your life. So here's your chance to exercise that free will muscle. Regardless of who you support, please vote today if you haven't already. Mods - perhaps this should be locked? I don't want it to devolve into... what it will surely devolve into 🙂 @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel @Jeff Howe
  27. I'll trust it's detailed review of all list and ranking sources over your opinion any day.
