Amen to this! The young players see these antics as humor. It's something they see all the time on Social Media and laugh. They need to be reminded that there is still a place for crude jokes and skits like this and public venues like Neyland Stadium is not that place.

Based on this article, Coach White filled the holes he had with the portal. There's a bit of a logjam in the infield with so much talent. The outfield is where some of the freshman/sophomores have a chance to break into the lineup at the corner outfield positions since Henry has CF locked down. Sneed couldn't secure the role in LF last year but will likely have first shot. I'm guessing one or both of the freshman may get the spots if they are as advertised. Additionally, if Abdullah (who was the #1 recruit) is so good you have to play her in the infield, then the likely person that gets moved would be Nichols, but she was pretty solid last year so she may get a shot at the outfield in that scenario. It's a plethora of talent and a matter of finding spots for them and keeping everyone happy. Likely will be 2-3 transfers following next season because of the logjam, especially if the 5 for 5 seniors decide to stay as the only senior that's completely out of eligibility would be Vivi Martinez.

I finally got around to seeing his Hudl video. He catches passes, runs the ball and even has two kick returns for TDs this year. He is 6'5" and his play reminds me of a vanilla Ja'Tavion Sanders. I have no idea what the competition level is in Illinois, but the kid seems to be a baller.

Another aspect I thought about and not just about this situation. Many get NIL $ not just Rev Share. So they are representing brands, companies , businesses etc. Sure they have clauses in those contracts etc. And Texas is out there trying to get more businesses involved to help all athletes NIL. So any unnecessary negative publicity can unfortunately affect those businesses etc. So I'm sure now a lot of athletes are more careful what they post on issues etc. And how they conduct themselves. Again not piling on here, just a reality of representing companies etc. Hopefully all is well, learn and move on.

Then don't complain when the people that are pissed tell Sarkisian to eff off when he comes to them for the financial assistance to bring in another Simmons or Brown.

In this day and age, anyone not starting or scheduled to start is likely a portal candidate at some level.

Now show him pulling. He’s solid in this role but when asked to move, his achilles shows and oddly no tn tape. Connor can’t anchor because of his size and we had to move Baker in because we jacked up the guard recruiting and development for years. I’m a bunk fan but they’re highlighting a player developed by another program. I don’t get flood defenders. I care that we still can’t pick up stunts. I care that we slept for 3 recruiting cycles. I care that others can game plan for our slide protections which implies we aren’t changing them or creative in disguising. He isn’t awful but what has he shown at Texas that says he will get us over the hump? We upgraded from pk so why is it blasphemous to want to upgrade from flood? And no, I don’t have a choice, that’s sark’s job. We should have a back up center ready to replace connor as he’s been here 5 years but we don’t. That’s unfathomable. We don’t have a 3rd or 4th year player that can push him when he’s struggling but flood’s great… I hope I’m wrong and we are the 90’s cowboys ol soon. Carry on lol 🤘🏽

Hate seeing foot injuries

The drive up to Dallas from Houston the night before with my friends is always memorable. Traffic signs that say “Phones down and Horns up” on the way and the Omni with their TX/OU lights set the vibe early. Watching OU fans shamelessly walk around the fair after an L is enjoyable as well.

That's a winning day

1. Rolling into Dallas at night on 45 from the south...cool skyline after dark, plus seeing the ferris wheel at the fair from the interstate. 2. Parking on MLK at 7 am, and grabbing a beer from the grocery store to slam before I walk in...if I don't already have a bloody mary in my coffee cup because that's automatic entry. 3. The smells: funnel cake, cotton candy, grill smoke, and horse sh*t. Glorious. 4. That first Shiner Bock, it goes fast because the rest of the morning it serves as my mustard cup. 5. The first Fletcher's, because of course 6. Seeing a bunch of degenerate drunks at the food court stand on tables to proclaim to anyone at the fair what we already know "ou SUCKS" 7. The walk from the narrow steps and concourse to the view of the field 75-90 minutes prior to kickoff...you can literally feel the electricity building. 8. Team entry from the tunnel, yelling "ou SUCKS" during Texas Fight because this is the only game it's appropriate. 9. Kicking land stealer ass 10. Singing The Eyes of Texas with 50,000 of my best friends

I don't know if his experience or calls or whatever balance it out, I'm not an expert, and I like Conner fine, but it seems pretty clear he is being targeted and abused by pretty much every team so far... I'm sure he's busting his butt, he just seems constantly overmatched unfortunately. 🤘
