Houston is the best option. Size, hockey history, natural rivalry with the Stars. It would have a higher chance of being consistently successful than Austin. That being said I could see Austin/San Antonio having a successful franchise there in the next 10+ years.

Oklahoma hit more home runs in their final 16 games than their first 45 games. It’s the whole reason for their run. It matters.

If Rodriguez is healthy and the guy Schloss believes he is, his power and overall production could increase considerably. Laya, I’m sure would be fine, but he was terrible in the Super. For those that criticize our guys for weak CWS performance. i have no idea about the incoming freshman, but a program like Texas should receive immediate contribution from at least one incoming freshman. Mendoza should improve back to his better self too. Pack could increase power numbers even if the average doesn’t quite hold.

Unlikely there will be hockey in the Toyota Center. It would more likely be a new arena at an old shopping mall site…similar to what the Stars are doing in Dallas

dumb question, but i stopped watching the CWS after Texas was knocked out. what kind of game were OU and UNC playing (guerrilla ball, big arms, contact and speed, etc)? I was shocked OU got there, but man they got hot.

Point taken, but I think we can agree that Tobacco Road college hoops is a different animal than almost anywhere else in the country. Alums/fans of those schools all attend the basketball games no matter what.
