  3. Well Dellenger latest is the SEC presidents had a call and got a Summary of the revision changes. But took no action until they see the full language of the bill. He gave no hint at the revisions etc. Devil in the details, so supposedly tomorrow.
  4. Exactly. The new the governing private authority must have subpoena power to enforce the rules with tough consequences. That authority can be given power to subpoena by the schools.
  5. NCAA rules never have been laws, so you can forget about subpoena power.
  6. You would fit in quite well with the NCAA, which has tried for decades (and failed) to repeal the law of supply and demand. We have had like a hundred years of this "nonsense." More than that, actually. The "cap" was basically zero, in terms of actual cash, and schools ignored it, because the market the schools wanted to tap cost real money. When NIL became "legal," costs skyrocketed because schools need the best players they can find. The schools are welcome to live by the laws you suggest, but they won't, because they want their TV rights to be worth the millions they're being paid for them. But they do want the rules, because they will lower costs.
  7. It wasn't Akina or Gideon's job to solve that. They aren't in charge of the entire defense. Your defensive coordinator should be able to coordinate the entire defense and not just the front or back half. The difference between '24 and '23/'25 isn't that PK figured it out and then forgot. The difference was we had extremely high IQ guys in Mukuba, Taafe & Barron that were basically coaches on the field working together. I don't disagree with you that the offense has had rough stretches or even that the defense has largely been better than the offense (especially in big games) over the last 3 seasons but I just don't think PK is without blame. The Florida game plan was downright embarrassing and while we held Ohio St down yardage wise, we never made Sayin uncomfortable in his first ever start. Didn't touch him once with all of the gifted pass-rushers this team had last year.
  8. Welcome to the board. If you ever need a prayer for anything, feel free to reach out. God bless.
  9. That’s what mutters always say Blake 😆
  10. You’re muted @Blake Munroe lol. Welcome @ForeverBurntOrange thanks for jumping in, the water is nice and calm…for now!
  11. Today
  12. ESPN has UT as number 1 in 2026 with 5 top 21 players
  13. I definitely went on a mute bender a couple of weeks ago. I’m back on the straight and narrow now though.
  14. @thatdude2thanks for posting. Hook em 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

  16. Wasn't a mistake in any way, He wouldn't get many carries at Texas this year and FSU will be paying him starter money something he would not be getting at Texas
  17. Also can Muschamp have the same success against aggie and OU that PK did? (Well besides the 2023 RRS)
  18. “Overall, I liked PK but I prefer a DC that can call the entire defense so that we don't have to worry about this "front not being married to the back" nonsense that we dealt with in '23 & '25.” Akina wasn’t here in 2023 or 2024, right? So it couldn’t have been his doing in those years. Gideon couldn’t solve it in 2023 but could in 2024? PK couldn’t figure it out in 2023 but did in 2024 then forgot in 2025. A defensive coach for decades. None of that makes sense. There’s no doubt Sark would prefer someone else to PK. Obviously PKs style doesn’t suit everyone. You ignore injuries. You know who screws up coverages? Backups that don’t have experience in high leverage situations. You ignore the pass rush. Let’s call it the secondary when our LBs don’t get depth. Our 2023 schedule had roughly 15 top 100 NFL picks in that NFL draft. That is 15% for those that struggle with math. That is a lot. Maybe even historic. That doesn’t include a fair number of underclassmen drafted the following year. DFEI provides you and others insight into the relative strength of the opponents offenses yet some people ignore it. Easy to play defense against WRs that can’t get open when being thrown to by inept QBs being protected by mediocre lines. The secondary didn’t let us down in 2023. It was a team effort. No sacks. Two turnovers. The offense inside the opponents 20 with 4 chances at the end of the game. Washington’s defense was JV level relative to their offense. The next to last offensive possession we had 1st and 10 from the 13. We have to kick a FG. If we score a TD there, all that was needed on the last possession was a FG. Maybe I’m wrong but thought Moore returned to show the NFL he could be versatile. Spirited football talk. It’s time.
  19. That’s the $64,000 question! That is what is needed, but I realize it is easier said than done! One can hope!
  20. Love the haircuts. Guys reporting to camps. Football is here!!
  21. True, but will the universities will give the governing authority power to enforce the rules with powerful consequences? The governing authority must have subpoena power to investigate but with a window of time. No more waiting a couple of years.
