  2. Two big losses for South Carolina https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49634614/south-carolina-loses-wide-receivers-jayden-sellers-jayden-gibson-season-ending-injuries
  3. Three young kids … just brutal
  4. Seems like he’s been trying to get to Dallas for a few years and finally did it. I don’t expect just a whole lot of production but if he can still get to the QB somewhat frequently, it may not be a bad deal.
  5. @Jeff HoweDo you expect to see more consistent playing time for big playmakers like Arch, Wingo, Cam, Collin, etc., in the next scrimmage? From what I heard from Sark, it sounded like just when these guys started to find a rhythm, they were pulled, so it is difficult to get an accurate assessment. Whereas, if these playmakers are left in for a while, they can find a rhythm and really start to light it up.

  7. To the point about the run game, Jeff. I'd just love to see us be credible with it in the red zone. Feel like that has cost us games the last 3 years alone. You go back to the RRS in '23. People like to give the D sh*t for not getting that stop at the end of the game (which is fair criticism) but I still remember us getting stuffed pretty easily at the goaline on what should've been a gimme score. With several chances to punch it in, The SEC conference title game or hell any Georgia game in general seems like it's had similar issues. The 2024 Ohio State game is another one. Right at the goal line to tie the game and instead we had no answer or push to get in the end zone. Instead fumbling it away for a TD. 2025 was more of the same. Ohio State game you had several chances to punch it in and the O couldn't get it done. yes this is in part because Ohio State had great players there but to have that many shots at it and not be able to punch it in, is not a good look. Sorry for the rant but Sark always preaches physicality and complimentary football but we've yet to see that consistently, especially from the offensive side. I hope he can finally figure that out.
  8. tesla wonder if it was self drive
  9. Fuc the attitude natives here. Some folks need to get a life away from this board. Post whatever you want. Some people actually seek knowledge from several places, and put it all together, rather then read just one board. The smart asses are the ones who did not attend the university or they would understand how to read and listen. Imagine having an employee as such. Fired!
  10. Hoping for a return to the post season. women's soccer is in its 3rd year as a required sport for the Directors’ Cup. We need points in every required sport!
  11. I had about 4 classes with Earl when I was a freshman and Sophomore. I even sat with him a few times. He knew my dad who wrote a sports column and so I had an in. He was a gentle nice guy off the field, and he never missed a class. He'll always be my favorite Longhorn, but VY is not far behind.
  12. Yeah, I don’t understand why people don’t get this.
  13. You didn't do anything wrong. I left IT because of this thin-skinned nonsense. All you did that upset the natives was drop a name and info from the competition, which happens on here all the time. Most of the time, it's to ridicule them, but nonetheless, it happens. I'm not sure why this time it was so egregious that it required the verbal whipping. The fact is,s it is very well possible someone else out there on the Internet might have info we may want to know as well. It makes for good discussion.
  14. People take themselves too seriously on these types of forums, I wouldn’t waste your time…
  15. All they need him to do is rush the passer. If he can give them 5-7 sacks in a roational role it's a hit.
  16. There's no real downside as long as it's a team friendly deal.
  17. Heartbreaking. My kids' school plays East Bernard in September.
  18. Praying for the family and team. If you wake up in the morning, thank god for that.
  19. Well he's 37 years old. Not sure what he has in the tank. 🤷‍♂️
  20. Like a lot of you, Earl is my sports hero. I was 9 years old for that 1977 season, so I was just getting into sports. His power and physicality defined for me what football should be about. But as much as I loved his game, it was his demeanor that really stood out to me - humble, quiet, respectful, etc. All of that along with his love for his mother and brothers as well as his relationship with people like DKR and Willie elevated him from sports hero to overall personal hero for me. He transcended sports from my perspective. As a lifelong Cowboys fan I actually rooted for the Earlers against the Doomsday Defense. Now this non dipper might put just a pinch between my cheek and gum and go play me some touch. Or maybe I’ll stick with the hot links Thank you, Earl!
  21. What's up with the attitude? I've been here since the very beginning because I enjoy Bobby, Gerry and crew better than the other sites. Part of that is because it's much friendlier over here. I watched Gerry talk about it before the scrimmage. I watch every show and follow the posts, but I hadn't seen anything about TyAnthony Smith after Sark talked about the flu bug, so I mentioned I heard Nahlin say openly today that it definitely wasn't the flu. Not because he's a more credible source or anything. I don't prefer IT over OTF in any way at all, I just quoted what I heard because no one here has said anything today. You need to chill.
  22. Yelling into the void sounds very desperate! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏾🤘🏽🤘🏿
  23. Perhaps you need to hang at IT if you think they are such a credible source??! 🤘🏾🤘🏽🤘🏿
