This loss may do a lot of things, but it won't improve our mental health 😆 🤘🏼

Ah yes, it's the "both sides" guy who thinks he made a strong point with a false equivalency. Now we see where our logic is flawed. Thank you

Also if it’s what I’m anticipating, short quick throws and downhill runs, could yall try to ask coach Sark why they don’t stick to that successful strategy.

Well this loss might actually end up being good for my mental health. I was getting WAY too invested and tripping out every Saturday.

Can any of the mods break down Texas’s scoring drives this season, particularly the final couple against OSU, and compare it to what Texas has been doing in all the three and outs. It feels like night and day between the two. Kinda feels like just completely different schemes.

Ok so then it's Muschamps fault we lost the game then since it's accountability for player & coach, since his players & his plays didn't stop ou from getting into field goal position?. Is what your saying right?

Are ya'll not watching the game one person blocked the punt & the 2nd wall let him right through damn near like he had money on a block punt

Ultimately yes. It's called accountability; for the player and the coach. Something that appears to be lacking on this team

Like I said it's his fault a player didn't block the dude that ran right past him & blocked the punt?

It's 3-2 against Venables, but the two losses are mind numbing.

I just realized that Sark is now 3-3 in this game and 2-2 with Venables.

All true. Our problems are much less pressing than all but about half a dozen teams. Special teams, penalties and Arch's mistakes are definitely frustrating. All of these can be fixed. Play calling is not a problem.

They still lost at home. Way we played today , both would have blown us out .

We just like to call a spade a spade vs put rose colored glasses on

Ideally yes, it would have been huge. But if Spetic makes the FG you can trust the only good unit on the field (the defense) to make a stop which they did on the following drive. Offense was terrible on converting short yardage today and Spetic is very capable of making that kick. There’s an argument for either option

Not to hate on CJ but outside one run he averaged 2.5 yards a carry and LSU doesn’t have a top 5 defense

Bama lost to the #1 team by a FG

Hell , let's give up and clean house and start over. Has not worked well in the past for us. Oregon, LSU, Florida, Aggie, Bama , lost today also. We flat gave one away today no question . Myself, I am hoping the team don't give up like their fan base. I hate losing , especially to those Assholes , but just hope they get ready to go next week and take down Florida. This damn league is going to beat each other up and have a bunch of unhappy fans all over it this year.

It's Sark's scheme. Just to be clear.

That’s inexcusable 5 games into the season.

Biles had already left his feet prior to the pass. Kinda hard to change trajectory at that point. He was committed already.

The Eagles and Jags get it going at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Let’s see what can be salvaged of the football weekend.

Couple of things. Discipline is a real problem for Texas. Recurring theme. Leadership lacking. Recurring. Bad playcalling. Recurring. Poor offensive line play. Recurring. Accountability. Special Teams both players and coaches. Same players making same or similar mistakes on every part of the team. Offense Defense and Special Teams. Our best players and leaders cant make silly mistakes and blow it off. Simmons last week PF kept drive alive, jumped offsides tonight. Biles PF on an interception allowing drive to continue and give up points. Arch handing out game balls to the gooners gift wrapped. Here is the one that really bothers me. The last 2 QBs at Texas were both 5 star athletes and ranked 1 in their respective class. With the time that both had on the 40 would anyone say that they were developed to the expected level? Same issue with OL specifically Guards and Center. The good is that atleast WRs and DL are where they should be or ahead.

I respectfully disagree, Not saying Arch wasnt a problem but the play calls, scheme, and inability to build any continuity is a major problem.

I'm sure we will win more games but I'm not picking us to win again until they show us that they have turned a corner. Don't put it out of the realm of possibility that we lose next week.
