I'm confused, didn't Finebaum say in an interview that a few game suspension would be the correct call?

I don’t see it as an “emotional argument” to say it’s not ever ok for athletes to bet on their own sport, much less their own team. This used to be something everyone could agree on. Insane that’s not the case anymore. College players can now bet on their own team & sport with negligible consequences. If Arch got caught doing this I’d be so disgusted if CDC & Sarkisian acted like ttu is.

Tech thinks this is funny & enjoying be labeled the bad guy. I think they might not like what is coming. That’s what I just heard.

You know we haven’t always looked great this season, but Schloss is one of the best in the business. He knows how to get teams to Omaha. He’s going to win it at some point and I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t win several during his time at Texas. This is what he was hired for.

It's an easy fix. Rule any game he participates in as a forfeit. The Big 12 could step up right now and actually do something for the good of their conference and football. Of course, I really think it's hilarious that a mid QB is seen as the savior of Tech. He was 12-12 as a starter at Cincinatti.

The only problem I see is one side is arguing emotionally about right wrong, and the other side is arguing from a legal viewpoint.

When Sorsby throws a brain fart pick six in the 4th quarter of a conference game next season that results in a loss, those tortilla tossers will turn on him fast. Every one of his screwups will make it appear that the fix is in for one of his betting cronies. What a mess.

It has become increasingly likely that Texas wins its 5th Directors' Cup. Almost unfathomable that we don't win it all. Stanford needs an near miracle to add any points at all and even if they win 4 out of 4 events they are entered in, Texas wins the cup with a measly 34th place finish in Track and Field. That would require about 10 points in the track meet. If Stanford doesn't add points in Track then we just need one of our teams to score 19 Directors Cup points, which is a 55th place finish and usually only requires 5 points scored in the track meet. And that is all assuming baseball doesn't add any more points. We will know track results prior to baseball results. This could be wrapped up on Friday after Men's Track goes final.

That judge was going to get voted out if this wasn't the outcome, but at what cost? There seems to be enough people and entities in lock-step about this horrible, absurd ruling.

Sure seems like it! Seems to be a microcosm of our society where most people have a victim’s mentality; no holding people accountable for consequences of their actions. If an addict wants to truly change they must remove themselves from the environment that caused the addiction. It’s as if an addiction counselor tells the alcoholic it’s okay to continue working as a bartender! Guess I’m a little surprised, but not shocked by the decision, which is unfortunate. Tech’s continued support of him through rehab, etc. is just a pretense to try and cover the stench emanating from the campus!
