  1. Past hour
  2. Wisner was a full go on every injury report
  3. Simon is RB 1 when wisner isnt 100% though… We never hated Wisner, he just hasn’t been healthy at all this year. Hints why some of us called for someone like Simon to be RB 1 when we knew Wisner couldn’t fully be his effective self. And going Forward Simon is probably our RB 2.
  4. I left out usernames as to not name and shame posters but this was all the week leading up to and including day of game.
  5. My BS takes? Like Arch doesn’t hit underneath and if he does it will help our offense/OL, which is exactly what happened yesterday. My OL takes which were exactly right and replacing the LG literally made the unit better? Excuse me, show me a take that I’ve had that wasn’t true
  6. I think we watched the entire to mature yesterday before our eyes. My hope is that they now see what it takes every week in the SEC if we’re going to win a championship and they carry that into their preparation week in and week out. Steady improvement every week built into what we saw at the RRR and this team is dangerous
  7. Georgia looks very beatable. Heck, eveyone looks beatable. Parity is a real thing, but I think we got a team now. They just can’t eat the rat poison and poop the bed in Kentucky.
  8. Can the SEC fine Kirby for his “time out, time out! What, I was just clapping”. That karma is going to come back and bite him in the ass.
  9. Today
  10. Think before posting. What a ridiculous take
  11. Have a skoal brother, and rewatch the game. After that, look at the stats, then consider the inexperience on this squad, and finally consider the 2 teams Texas has lost a game to have talented players almost equal to that of our team. One of which is currently number one because they’ve earned that the other has been disappointing but not for lack of talent. Sark never told us that this was going to be the best team in the nation and that Arch would win the Heisman. The press told you that. Sark has lead this program to a place of sustained success in 5 years we haven’t had in 15-20 years. Recalibrate and notice that this team is talented and growing and you’ll be able to enjoy the ride. Hook’em
  12. Dude, don’t try to play dumb. You know why the warning is there. The narcissistic troll tendencies from you are well noted and balked at all across this site. You hijack/spam every conversation with your bull s*** “takes,” and quite frankly, we’re all tired of it. Pretty sure it’s time for you to look in the mirror and reevaluate yourself.
  13. ....for weeks we kept asking, "What is our identity?" Yesterday's game showed a tough, physical team, that took what the defense gave them. We saw an offensive line that fought and was motivated to be aggressive and mean. Arch was smart, athletic, and very poised. Our defense was tackling with aplomb, ferocious, and Johnny on the spot. This will be a huge confidence builder for a young team. Kudos to the coaching staff for working hard to get the bad taste of Florida out of the players' system.
  14. My snap judgment when reading his post was that Tre was an unsung hero. Hashtag’s posts are often provocative, but we are all really passionate about the horns and probably have some views that our normal friends and relatives consider obsessive. I took Hashtag’s post as a positive and maybe the delivery wasn’t the best. It is true that Tre does not get the recognition he deserves and he was the star of the game yesterday for sure. How he found those lanes was amazing.
  15. If that’s what you meant, then you need to communicate that because that is NOT at all what the original post did and it is still factually incorrect and revisionist history. 1. Nobody hated on Wisner. They may have also been excited for Baxter but never at the expense of Wisner. Liking two Longhorns is not mutually exclusive. This is a Longhorn message board, not a Wisner OR Baxter message board. 2. Furthermore, all off-season, it was never Baxter over Wisner because Baxter was INJURED. Nobody was calling for him to play over Wisner; they were hoping for him to be healthy enough to even get on the field again.
  16. He “decided”… Always good for a laugh.
  17. “Nurse Ratched, please come to the day room…”
  18. Texas has been trending since the visit. I don’t think any one game is the deciding factor Ultimately, this comes down to staying closer to family or not … for Jalen and his family And Texas being competitive enough to win out (not football)
  19. Everyone constantly calling on other backs is a hater of Wisner. Even before the season the SEC leading rusher was getting no love from people and it was Cj this Cj that. And a warning for a post giving props to our best player? Maybe the members in this community need to grow tougher skin.
  20. I’m not ready to call him overrated. Sat for last two games, limited practice this week. And our defense is awesome!
  21. Please show me a fan who hated on Tre Wisner. Your posts are clearly meant to either denigrate or cause disharmony. Not sure what you think, but that’s neither cool nor intelligent. Either way, consider this a warning. I’m tired of the schtick and I know other subscribers are, too.
  22. My only dislike, is that I didn't like them just throwing Brooks into the mix last week like that. If they knew he was the best option, they should've used the three G5 games to get him reps. But anyway, I digress. He at least gives us a better chance there.
  23. I'm watching the game now, as I didn't get a chance to watch when it was live, unfortunately. Brooks seems like he is coming a long. Certainly had some whiffs early on but I think the positive runs by Wisner gave him confidence and he used that confidence to get better through out the game. If so, that bodes well going into next year but we'll see.
  24. Jeff, once again, great article. You always sum up the after thoughts of a game pretty well - good or bad. I agree, savior this win, as a fan for 20 years now, I've seen my fair share of losses to the Sooners and also upset of the Sooners. These games are always great. Loved the effort and attitude of the boys to get it done and bounce back from last weeks showing. Penalties were down, turnovers were down and they lit the OU O up. All it took was some pressure to rattle Mateer and he seemed spooked. So happy for the boys especially because I'm certain it wasn't easy after last week and how it panned out. Looks like Bobby's predictions could play out with the 10-2 but I'm certain the boys are focused and ready to tackle Kentucky next week, after savouring the OU tears for a while.
  25. hashtag your too positive lolo
