  1. Past hour
  2. It may also be possible that Texas thought Baugh or Lacy would be in the portal at the time that they let Wisner walk. Either way I’m sure Texas thinks the 2 they got are an upgrade over Wisner, just maybe not the extreme level upgrade they thought that would be available to them.
  3. Size 11s are on hold for @Chase Bennett Size 12 flywire v6 are on their way to @PaulieD Still do have the other 2 size 12s available - the dunks as well as the black/orange Nike Train Speed 4s. Thanks!
  4. Yes. His agents asked for a number that no school ended up offering.
  5. It was a business decision.
  6. Tre was an OU & Aggie killer. Always be reminded fondly. He was not a game changer, big play guy. Example, 1st offensive play of 2nd half against Aggie. That same play, Hollywood Smothers or Raleek Brown takes that ball to the house. Tre got caught on 15 yd line, we settled for a FG. Good Luck Tre !
  7. Thanks Bobby I was fooled this whole time
  8. Pretty bold to have an injury plagued season and have the nerve to ask for more money
  9. I feel we all can agree he isnt in the Livingstone category haha. Thanks Bobby!
  10. This is a parody account ... 🤦‍♂️
  11. Tre Wisner is a good player. Hard nosed, tough as nails, reliable and dependable. Tre, however, is not a breakaway runner even though he's somewhat slight of build. Initially, Texas wanted to keep Tre and only take one RB from the portal. But Tre's agency asked for significantly more than what Texas perceived as market value. So the two did not agree to terms, he entered the portal, and then Texas started looking for two RBs in the portal. They identified Raleek Brown quickly and then circled back on Hollywood Smothers who had committed to Alabama from North Carolina State. Long story short, there's no disparagement of Tre Wisner around here. Is he perfect? No. But he was a damn good Longhorn when Texas needed him the most. He will be missed, even if his replacements may actually be better.
  12. There ya have it. Thanks Bobby. I thought I remembered it being something like that but wasn’t sure. heck of a kid and always represented us well. Sad he didn’t end his career as a Longhorn but that’s the NIL driven game now a days for some.
  13. That's incorrect. They never agreed to numbers. His agency started well above where Texas was.
  14. I believe he agreed to the deal Texas offered then came back and asked for more
  15. He took bad advice from whoever his agent/ advising him. He really deserved to finish his career as a horn but i also understand he wasn't worth the asking price either if you believed we could upgrade
  16. Sean Miller: "I'm forever grateful. I think we all are. They're always welcome back.”
  17. Pretty sure he left cause the NiL package wasn’t what he wanted or we wouldn’t raise to what he was asking. I liked his production out of the backfield and thought he would have been good in rotation with whoever we brought in but I think he was asking for RB1 money that we didn’t want to commit to. there could be more but I didn’t listen to the noise or haters saying he could leave but I wish him well and hope he does well at FSU and makes it to the league to make himself some money.
  18. Today
  19. The Michigan Boards agree they will make.m a deal , just that was a phony tweet by that guy. Reading other Boards it seems all are accepting of this , because the $ matters now. Dell is the logical choice for UT but whoever it eventually is , we will surpass ND OSU deal one would think.
  20. Well, this puts a crazy price tag on jerseys. The ante has been upped.
  21. As for Hill, my view is that he’s a better secondary level pass rusher than straight beat you man to man. He has nice hands. So his best matchup is situational. In 2024, he was in the box on 77% of snaps, DL on 9%, slot 14%, and CB 1%. In 2025, he was in the box 76% of snaps, DL 7%, slot 16%, and CB 1%. Rounding comes in to play so the difference in box snaps is actually 0.2%. So pass plays. In 2024, he pass rushed 16% of plays versus 84% in coverage. In 2025, he pass rushed 26% of plays versus 74% in coverage. His alignment is similar year over year. For those saying he should have rushed the passer more in 2025 relative to 2024. He did. Sixty percent more. As the Vandy game has been beat to death, I’ll hit it again. 3rd and whatever inside our 20. We rush 5 leaving the middle exposed. This is an example of too much aggression. Believe Hill was the 5th pass rusher. 4th and 19. We sacked Pavia on 3rd with a 4 man rush. On 4th and 19, we rush 5 with Hill being the 5th. My opinion is overly aggressive. Both of those plays could have been denied with proper deployment and execution from your LBs. That’s my recall anyway.
  22. Palantir is a public surveillance business located in Austin. Only worse sponsors would be NAZI Gestapo or East German Stasi.
