  2. That and high schools actually have age limits that they enforce, so college players would not be eligible
  3. I hear you, but that’s not really the point I’m making. I’m not claiming there’s a 6’8” dude warming up for the W tomorrow. I’m saying the moment the league opens the door - even a crack - I’m out. Full stop. And let’s be honest: the “this can’t happen” argument isn’t airtight. The NCAA just spent the last year tied in knots over eligibility definitions, injunctions, appeals, and what counts as “professional participation.” Every governing body in women’s sports is getting dragged into the same debates. Acting like the WNBA is magically insulated from all of that forever is wishful thinking. The wrestler example actually proves my point more than yours - once a governing body makes a classification decision, everyone downstream has to live with the consequences. If the W ever decides to reinterpret eligibility, even slightly, fans don’t get a vote. We just get the product. And for me, that’s the line. Women’s basketball has finally built real momentum - viewership, investment, stars, storylines. I’m not sticking around to watch the league gamble that away. If they ever decide to let men compete in the women’s league, I’m done. Simple as that. Hook ’Em.

  8. Ohio State at Texas matchup in Austin on Saturday, September 12 is projected to be between 94°F and 96°F at kickoff. Ryan Day is known to deliberately crank up the thermostats inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center indoor practice facility to emulate oppressive humidity and temperatures. This forces players to adapt mentally and physically while reinforcing that hydration starts days before kickoff https://www.si.com/college/ohiostate/news/ryan-day-literally-turns-up-the-heat-before-ohio-state-s-biggest-game-of-the-year-01kbkhjn1pev
  9. They got all day to get liquored up
  10. Do you think there’s a chance the best defense the Horns face this year will be in practice?

  12. Jeff, I believe that the Texas State QB and receivers are solid players, but how much can their numbers from last year be attributed to their strength of schedule versus pure, raw talent? Are they likely NFL type talents?
  13. I'll be there to pull for my Horns. Tailgate starts around 9:30. Start with bloody mary then switch over to beer and water. Another year in section 9. Hook'Em 🤘
  14. Favorite under-the-radar guy to wear #1 for the Horns was Keenan Robinson. Super fun linebacker to watch in college.
  15. The Commissioner resigned. She's retiring. Hopefully, they can find someone really good and keep growing the League.
  16. The ratings for tomorrow’s game will be through the roof. That crowd is going to be insane.
  17. i have a buddy who is dead set that even if the federal court overturns the baton rouge ruling that LSU would play the guys and say "we are following a state judge ruling" i was like yeah go ahead and go to colorado and bring some of the THC extract into Texas. and then when you get charged with a felony, try and tell Texas that you were following Colorado law.
  18. 92 is the forecast high for Saturday. I was expecting much hotter
