That's kind of my point tho. I already don't look at youtube chat but I'd like to watch coffee & football on monday morning after a big win in Neyland against a top 15 team (And a top 5 defense, let's be honest about their talent) and rejoice in Texas being 4-0... instead all I get is frustrated people projecting their anxieties onto everyone else. The problems are clear for this Texas team, no need to overboard and be miserable.

The defense

Apparently, it was, by rule, an illegal kick. Thankfully, Texas won the game and the SEC avoided a mess.

It's everywhere. Just saw someone call the QB "Brain dead". Youtube chat is a hell hole. Twitter is even worse. Winning is supposed to be fun. There's a lot of people in the Texas fanbase that make it miserable.

Everyone is talking about he should have checked out of plays at the LOS. To his defense, I don’t know how much he would be able to do that in that kind of environment and as loud as it is there. Like I said earlier, we are going to see what we saw today from defenses the rest of way or until we start burning it. We need to work on blitz/pressure beaters. We have alot of guys that are dangerous in space we need to find a way to get it to them. Do that enough and the run game will come back around. They got analysis from a ton of back grounds. Figure it out

That was an embarrassing move by Simmons. I wonder if he gets reprimanded. The D was truly outstanding, and the O sputtered again. Coaches need to drill the players about all of those penalties.

I mean I get it. hiding the chat is an option too on YouTube. With that being said fans are just frustrated. Nothing we do looks or feels "easy" and they know that will cost us a game or two. Nothing about my reaction is due to anything that you guys at OTF are doing, I want to make that clear. But it's genuinely become so much less enjoyable to watch this team and less fun because of some people in this fan base. We can critique and want the best for the team without always having to jump to absolutes. Just ranting I guess. Winning is supposed to be fun. A lot of the times getting on this threads or in the chat on monday morning makes it miserable.

Emotions are high on game day, especially immediately after it’s over. Still, don’t let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. A lot to fix and a lot of questions, but at least it’s stuff that’s getting sorted out after a win. Beats the alternative, for sure.

I honestly think that offense as whole just needs an identity. They abandon things that work and hunt big plays often. I think Arch sometimes needs to say F it and take off instead of locking on, but he was actually pretty accurate today. Just too many penalties, sacks (a few on Arch), and tackles for loss on first down. None of this is uncorrectable. 🤘🏼

200 yards 75% completion and what he did today is AT worst a mediocre performance. That's fair. We couldn't do anything on offense regardless of Arch today, saying that we have a brain dead QB is genuinely a dehumanizing comment and I hope you realize that and do better. Really not that hard to be like: "Arch needs to be more aware, those two throws beyond the LOS were really dumb. He also needs to lock on his primary reads less". That's it. That's pretty much all you can really say. If you saw the game today and thought that then please stop watching football you're clearly too emotional or dumb for it or probalby both. Have a good rest of your day or night.
