  1. Past hour
  2. @Bobby Burton Can we ban HarveyCMD? I get people are upset but I for one don't wanna put up with attacks on the staff like he has been doing.
  3. Thank you, Rockin. I’d say Mus to be super cute like you but he’d be the first to say they could have done better. Especially on the two Florida drives that pretty much chewed up the entire third quarter.
  4. It’s going to shock A LOT of y'all when sark trouts arch back out there, to look shellshocked and KJ see’s zero time playing. I think all of this KJ getting more first team rep’s is all smoke and mirrors by sark. Sark has completely failed the manning family, himself and us if he has to bench another “generational” five star QB like he did quinn.
  5. Cool! BTW, pretty much anything is possible.
  6. You’re pretty spot on. Both were #1 or top ranked QB’s and had high expectations only to not meet them. arch had a hell of a stretch at the end of last year, so I feel like he is better in that aspect compared to Gilbert lighting up Bama in the championship game only to be disappointing from there I just never thought Arch would regress like he has. Hopefully this pushes him to knuckle up and fight for that QB1 spot
  7. I think the front 7 will be decent, our secondary has chance to get cooked though. Our DBS play so far off their man and they have been getting burnt downfield
  8. Agree and have more confidence in the defense to come together to play well versus the offense. I have zero confidence we can score 20 let alone 40+ required to keep up with ole Miss
  9. The Strong and Herman years were mostly bad with a few bright spots here and there. Sark has built a roster that is as good as any in the nation. Do they play that way? Generally not, at least over the bulk of this season. However, Sark has had UT ranked #1 on several occasions (fairly or not). We have won playoff games and reached the semis twice. Yes we do have lots of problems? Yes. Is Sark one of those problems? Yes. Is he a great Head Coach? IMO, the jury is still out on that. Is this just a (lengthy) rough patch that will be worked out? I sure hope so.
  10. This is the time for someone to make some money & step up
  11. Smith Orogbo should get some run....he's been very productive in limited snaps. We did fine last year when Ant Hill went down.
  12. https://youtu.be/kpu0YZUNvng?is=L3D5kVaaXsuEsgOB https://www.instagram.com/reel/Deroo6bv3hS/?xtok=NGdlYjVhaHRkeW8y Basic skillset that KJ will provide that can add a different element to this offense. 1. Pocket mobility, creating throwing windows, extending plays. Based on what we've seen, KJ seems to have the ability to threaten all aspects of the field based on his ability to create new throwing windows for himself. Arch has regressed into being a statuesque QB, planted as an easy stationary target. He doesn't give himself the opportunity to create any new throwing windows by being so rooted in 1 spot. 2. Ball placement, touch and "catchable" passes Arch has turned into a David Carr / Garrett Gilbert like QB who fires every pass as a rocket no matter the target, distance or situation. We've seen dirt balls at WR feet, balls off guy's faces, sailing over their heads. KJ has shown effective touch on both short passes and back shoulder deep balls (think the throw to Berkhalter) These types of throws will allow Cam Coleman to be a threat in the offense. Jermaine Bishop to catch & run on drag routes, over the middle quick RPO slants etc. Unlocking neglected parts of Sark's offense RB screens will be back in play again, maybe even the renowned "Sark screen" 3. Lastly, is the timing of the actual plays. KJ has exhibited the ability to distribute the ball quickly as a point guard vs holding the ball. Arch isn't doing his beleaguered O-line any favors by how he's playing behind them. We might not get as many 40 yard bombs down field, but I'd rather prefer an efficient move the chains Colt McCoy style operation that helps our defense recover and regroup. / random thoughts
  13. When Augie got here, he was already a legend. Sark wasn't. Big difference.
  14. Thank you Steve, we heard about all the things the defense could have done from you earlier. 😂
  15. We have seen countless times a key player is missed and the unit all raise their levels. Plus Muschamp knows well ahead of time how to tweak things. I wouldn’t write off the defense. The offense on the other hand.
  16. We had a newsletter sent out, apologies, and statements for player celebrations but where is the official announcement for this?
  17. A question i have because ive seen it thrown around a lot about Sark being a great head coach, what evidence is there of that?
  18. For sure. Maybe this will be the week the offense looks like a varsity team. Otherwise, defense is gonna give up points again. Ole Miss has scored 30 in every game this season except against Florida where they scored 28. Meanwhile, we have only scored 30 points against Texas State and UTSA (30 exactly).
  19. He sure can't be trusted to not have a weak link in the unit, whether it is lack of development, or evals, or landing "must get" recruits / portal targets is up for debate. He may not own QB performance, but he definitely should own the lack of running game success.
  20. Today
  21. When a putrid offense is giving their defense zero help stuff like florida and oklahoma are bound to happen.
  22. First it was PK. Now it’s Arch and Flood. Next it’ll be another round of assistants sacrificed to save the offensive genius. Six years, countless excuses, and somehow the guy who hired the coaches, recruited the players, built the offense, and calls the plays is the only one who escapes accountability. At some point, you run out of people to blame and have to admit the guy holding the clipboard is the problem.
  23. Stop blaming Arch and Sark. If the defense would do their job and get a 2-3 pick 6's each game we would barely need the offense 🙃
  24. Even with 1 out there, it was going to be a very difficult matchup against Ole Miss for the Texas defense. Without his presence, not only in the pass rush but against the run also, I don't see the defense doing much better this week than against Florida. He has been the only Edge consistently providing pressure and consistently setting the edge against runs. Richard Wesley has definitely shown he can get a push, but he has lost contain consistently. I personally have no clue how we are favored this weekend. On one hand I wouldn't be surprised if Texas wins, on the other hand I would be shocked if they do win?? It's an impossible team to predict, the game on Saturday won't change how I view the team one way or another. Tackling needs to improve either way.
