LW‑C just keeps putting up monster numbers. Even with the lighter workload, he’s ripping off huge gains every week and staying in great shape. The career totals he’s closing in on are unreal ...... not many backs in Texas history have lived in that neighborhood. Fun to watch his season build. Hook ’Em.

Fort Bend has so many expats/foreign workers, some of the school just don't have students interested in sport, much less football. Dulles, Clements, Austin, etc. I am assuming this is FB Dulles, so could be wrong school I guess.

Happens a lot across the state. Too many programs, talent isn't what it once was outside of certain spots and most programs don't get good participation.

His first two games were against South Oak Cliff and Westfield. Westfield kept him out of the endzone, but they have 4-5 d1 quality players (if not more) on their defense. They are big and fast. He broke a few runs. I don’t think Randle’s oline is that great. They hane a really big left tackle, but their interior looks slow and was the problem against Westfield in my opinion.

That district is really tough. Randle Angleton and Iowa Colony all have tons of talent. Bottom couple of teams are really bad. I admire the kids’ dedication who want to play, but there is an enormous talent disparity between the top and bottom of that district.

That’s insane. I’ve never seen a team get basketball scores put up on them like that before.

What exactly do you mean here?

Fort Bend opening so many schools over the years was the initial part of it. Talent in that area goes to Fort Bend Marshall and Hightower now if they are high end athletes. And Dulles' numbers are low now too.

What has happened to Dulles? They were a pretty good program back in the day.

He's been a rare RB that has remained very healthy throughout his HS career at a 5A or 6A level.

Landen Williams-Callis with 5 more TD's last night Richmond Randle beat the worst Fort Bend Dulles team ever last night to the tune of 91-0. That's not a misprint. Dulles has lost their last three district games 80-0 to Angleton, 80-0 to Friendswood and 91-0 to Randle. Texas commit Landen Williams-Callis carrier the ball 11 times for 234 yards and 5 TD's in very limited action. I mentioned after Texas RB commit Landen Williams-Callis recorded 67 touches in the first two very tough games for Richmond Randle that his touches would go way down for the next five or six games. That is now happening with Victoria East and Dulles games combining for 25 carries, and upcoming games vs. South Houston, Iowa Colony, Pasadena and Freeman also expected to net lower touches. The final two district games vs. Angleton and Friendswood will see 20+ carries. Through four games, LW-C is averaging 209.5 yards rushing per game as he rolls toward another 2,000+ yard regular season. Season stats: vs. South Oak Cliff: 33 for 230 and 2 TD's. vs. Spring Westfield: 32 for 147 vs. Victoria East: 14 for 227 and 5 TD's vs. Dulles: 11 for 234 and 5 TD's Total: 90 carries for 838 yards and 12 TD's Record watch... LW-C now has 8,392 career rushing yards and 144 TD's On his current pace, LW-C would head into the 5A playoffs with 9,650'ish career rushing yards. Very true. It’s always interesting to me that most people view their team as a one sided coin. The LBs are only going to struggle from a physicality standpoint if our guys upfront are not winning battles or eating up two blocks. But the flip side of the coin of LB versus Olineman is that the Olineman should win way more often because they have the size/strength advantage. That doesn’t really change if a LB is 220 or 240. If you have a Guard that consistently loses a physical battle with a LB, you have a backup Guard. And that is certainly something a fanbase would bemoan. The front has to make enough plays, win enough battles so the olinemen don’t get quick and free releases to the next level. An oline has to win versus the first level before the second level matters. That’ll be the case here.

Was on road and misunderstood your Q IMO, Texas will be in the 35.5% neighborhood Im firm in my belief that too many people believe that a team has to shoot 39-40% from 3 to be an elite or great team The last 5 National Champions have shot from 35.3% to 36.5’ish% from 3 And I’m not going into the season with NC dreams … but E8 and playing to get to the Final Four goals. If Texas is top 1-3 in FT attempts per game and 35.5% area from 3 … they will have plenty of scoring ability But Texas needs to be in that area code from 3, and 74%’ish from FT line to take full advantage IMO
