  1. Past hour
  2. I had to do a double take and wonder why Simmons was posting about Missouri practices lol.
  3. I think the true Fr Brandon is going to win that job.
  4. Today
  5. Bates has a lot of work to do to build this into a championship program.
  6. Chalmers on the east side is an insane game watching spot. It is gigantic with a bunch of different large projection screens.
  7. He couldn’t Kerry the whole team in only 9 games…
  8. Haha, for the better Bevo blvd is insane but they definitely had game day in Austin for that one so they may have something similar again on LBJ!
  9. Nope. Liquid IV this morning, two bottles of water beforehand. And found a nice shady spot on the sideline under the tent...
  10. That’s like asking me if I’d rather take a rattlesnake bite to the face or a gunshot to the stomach. Both are terrible options.
  11. Not sure what else to call it when you are practicing with the Zags team in July, and leave with no warning or convo and sign a pro contract in Europe. He totally f&^%#d Few and Gonzaga.
  12. Fisher or Montana? Who is higher on the hate list?
  13. I refuse to choose between Kiki and Aaron😊🤘
  14. If he’s coming in for a big weekend like Ohio State, he’ll have no problem getting the full DKR experience without paying DKR prices. Posse East is basically the unofficial “no‑ticket section” - packed, loud, and close enough to feel the crowd shake the place. Scholz is the more traditional option with a huge beer garden and a ton of alumni. Crown & Anchor is the cheaper, more laid‑back campus bar if they want something less shoulder‑to‑shoulder. If Longhorn City Limits sets up the big screen on the LBJ lawn, that’s honestly one of the best ways to watch a game. You’re outside, surrounded by fans, and the stadium noise is right behind you. Tailgate‑hopping around DKR is also a must. Plenty of TVs, plenty of friendly Horn fans, and he’ll meet more random Longhorns in one afternoon than he has in his entire life out of state. Fredericksburg afterward is a great cool‑down - Becker, Grape Creek, Signor, all solid wineries. Johnson City is quieter but has great tasting rooms. Marble Falls/Horseshoe Bay if they want lake time or golf. Easy trip, great mix of chaos and chill. Hook ’em.
  15. Good to know. The game I was referring to was 2019 LSU so I’m sure a lot has changed since then lol
  16. I just popped in to say that Jeff Fisher is sub-mediocre turd who deserves all the scorn you can heap on him and more
  17. My top 25 preseason list right now ... with understanding things could change if the 2022's get eligible: 1. Florida 2. Duke 3. Illinois - David Mirkovic has to come back from broken foot/surgery July 31 4. Michigan State 5. UConn 6. Texas 7. Arizona 8. Tennessee 9. Arkansas 10. St. John's - Dillon Mitchell signing with Boston Celtics knocks them down a few spots, as he was best chance to help replace injured Donnie Freeman 11. Louisville 12. USC - big man just got injured, but young depth is quality 13. Michigan - losing Dusty May will matter 14. Virginia 15. Miami 16. Vanderbilt 17. Alabama 18. Missouri 19. Houston 20. Gonzaga - was top 10'ish level before the PG porked Few 21. Kentucky 22. UCLA 23. Kansas 24. Iowa State 25. North Carolina Just missed: Indiana Villanova Nebraska Purdue Arizona State
  18. Not always, that’s where Longhorn city limits is. Since game day will be there they may have something like that.
  19. Not sure if they still do it, but a while back I watched a game on the LBJ lawn right outside DKR. They have a huge screen with tons of fans watching and you can hear the crowd noise right behind you. I really enjoyed it
  20. Big blow to St. John's efforts to replace injured Donnie freeman
  21. OTF has a tailgate that is a good time Scholz, Posse East, or Crown and Anchor are good cheap spots to hang and watch the game. If they’re alumni you can always go watch the game there too. Hill country Fredericksburg is great for wineries and food. Johnson City too. We live in Marble Falls and Horseshoe Bay is a great spot for golf my wife owns a paddle board fitness class that is GREAT for the ladies and specially designed for them. Boardandbodylbj.com. Happy to give more info!!
  22. Yesterday
  23. What would VY have done playing for a coach like Andy Reid? Sad pro ending to a career with a very good start. Norm Chow when interviewed after that game in Houston that VY won with a 20+ yard scramble for a TD, said that VY missed two open reads on that play. He seriously said that instead of praising Vince. Both Fisher and Chow were complicit in the destruction of VY. Ya, VY didn't handle the pro life well either, but with a little support and success, how good could he have been? I'll never forgive or respect either one of them.
  24. He can wander around the tailgates and pretty sure catch the game there and meet some randos. If he can get inyt shultz garden, he should and watch the game there.
