General Grant Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Suck it Kirby (since we can't beat you.) Vandy going the Pavia route. Try to find an elite QB and a meh roster around him. I get it. 3 Quote
Joe D Villasenor Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago He only has to sit 2 years behind Pavia 🤣 12 Quote
Roy Hinojosa Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Curious what kind of bag he got to flip to Vandy. Huge get for Clark Lea and Vandy. Also, I thought Dia Bell was QB1. No? 1 Quote

MarkInAustin Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I would not underestimate Vandy in the true NIL marketplace. Nashville is a city with opportunities for media and corporate publicity and appearances, and the school has very wealthy alumni. Down the road: when collective bargaining comes, if state employees are prohibited, then Vandy and Stanford and Northwestern and Notre Dame and USC and SMU and even Rice will actually have an advantage. That is the kind of political mess that could lead to permitting state employees to collectively bargain across the board! Quote

I live in Houston, Rice alumni are extremely well off on average, if they wanted to be competitive in NIL and field a strong football team, they could. It's just not a priority for them. Quote
