Oldest Horn Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago How many of our starting O line need to opt out before rethinking Arch’s reps? Quote
Timberman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Isn’t the University of Texas football team a team that plays football? Or any football team for that matter? If so, why would you not play another game? It’s what they do right? The Longhorns are a football team lol. 2 Quote
Jbro52 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Pansies, beat A&M or Miami 🤷🏼♂️but why turn the bowl game down when you can go prove you belong in the CFP Edited 1 hour ago by Jbro52 Quote

John F. Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago Weak and soft move by ND to opt out. But also good because it’s another bit of pressure to change the current format. The 2026 clause is garbage and I expect the major conferences to push back hard. 2 Quote

My comment was more of a general statement to anyone who thinks we should do anything other than go out there and win this game. these kids came to play football. And to not go out there with the 100% focus/intention or winning is cheating the kids, the program and the fans. Go out there and blow the doors off of Michigan and springboard next years season acting like limp wrists, and trying to take our ball and go home because we didn’t make the playoffs is a weak mindset. 1 1 Quote

Means if they were 12 they’d be in over 11 and 10 in a scenario like this year. Its worse. They would have taken Miami's spot contractually instead of a head to head cfp decision where they lost on the field. And haven forbid we're #10/11 next year and get bumped by them + some combo of a weak ACC champ or 2nd G5 Champ or 2nd place ACC/B12 team. 1 Quote

Absolutely, if anything they need to go the other way. ND will not be considered for the CFP until they join a conference. In fact, no independent team will be allowed to participate in the CFP.
