Texas hangs on for a 67-64 win. The Longhorns are 17-0 overall and 2-0 in the SEC.

McMahon is a baller. Wouldn't be surprised if she makes the all-SEC team at the end of the season. It was a good game for us until that 5 min stretch where the team looked unfocused. They might have been fatigued because they don't usually lack intensity like that. But I'll take another W.

Yes she is a very good player.  This is why getting Aaliyah Crump back from her foot injury is so important as they get into conference play and the tourney.  Crump provides another scorer and shooter when Booker, Lee, and Harmon have an off-shooting night.  But it's good to have games like this to test how good they are at closing out these teams.

We are really missing Crump. Justice wasn't on today. Rori was not herself either. I thought Judd was good until she got tired. Maddie and Jordan are carrying us. Rori was really upset with her play today. I don't worry about her.

Lee, Booker, and Harmon didn't shoot bad today. They just got careless with the ball for that 5 minute stint in the 4th qtr when ole miss came back.

Crump will be good to have but more for depth this year so Booker and Lee can get some breathers. Her missing so many games will hurt her development this year unfortunately. She'll be ready to go offensively this year but she's got a ways to go defensively before she can get big minutes in Vic's defensive scheme. If she wouldn't have gotten injured, she'd probably already be almost ready by now.

I hope she can start that development counter.

Tonight, the Auburn Tigers come to the Moody Center to take on the Texas Longhorns.  The game starts at 7:00 PM CT on SEC Network+.

Coach Vic said they are being very careful with Aaliyah Crump. She should be ready soon. Having Judd, Justice, and Sidberry at the 4 helps, so we don't need to rush her back. However, she has more of an offensive driven game and confidence which helps. Judd is beginning to get her mojo back at the right time. She is aggressive and very experienced in SEC play. She's not afraid.

Good game to prepare for the tough road stretch in Baton Rouge and Columbia, SC.   But this team is already battle tested from the Players Era Tournament in Las Vegas.  If they bring their A-game, they should win by double digits, but their performance in the second half of the Mississippi game showed you can't take any team in this conference lightly.

I wasn't able to watch the game. Like an idiot I planned a date. I just got home and watched it. Man, when they play like this no one will beat them. Justice was savage on the boards and scoring. Once she feels it, she's a big, strong girl who is not afraid to mix it up. Our two bigs were dominant. Oldacre is in much better shape this year and with her size and wingspan she's tough in the paint. I am sure she intimates most guards who try and score in the paint. Judd is a welcome addition. Tough, gritty and surprisingly good around the basket. She has tons of experience.  Rori is Rori. Consistent badass! Sunday we face the big mouth yappers from LSU.

Ngl, this is the most nervous I've felt before a Texas WBB game since the Players Era Tournament Championship game against South Carolina, but like the men last night in Tuscaloosa, I still feel good about their chances of coming out on top against this LSU team.  Hope Aaliyah Crump gets healthy soon and this doesn't end up being a Laila Phelia 2.0 situation.  Beat Kim Mulkey!

I can't wait for this game, Texas has some things to clean up and needs to play better than they did against Ole Miss. Sidenote, I don't know how Fulwaley sleeps with her current hairstyle. I have similar barrel rolls and trying to get comfortable sleep is near impossible.
