Nope. When Muschamp plays a 3-man front ... he needs two true OLB/over hang pass rushers.

Simmons is one. Texas wants another high level guy

In a 3 man front ... Lance Jackson is a 5, Justus Terry is a 5

Got it.  Thanks!

Is Smith Orogbo not ready to play meaningful snaps yet?  I know he was coming off a HS knee injury and needed some time to add weight.  Should we be concerned about Orogbo potentially hitting the portal?

No, we don’t like to give our own players we’ve invested in a chance anymore . We rather bid for overpriced  subpar players from other schools that don’t know our system .  You don’t get paid 10 million a year so you wouldn’t understand!. It’s way too complicated for us fans.

Oklahoma State EDGE transfer Wendell Gregory

OnTexasFootball can report Texas is planning to bring in Oklahoma State EDGE transfer Wendell Gregory.

OTF can also relay … his NIL price is way up there.

The 6-3, 255 pound redshirt freshman totaled 27 tackles and 4 sacks in 2025.

Gregory will have three years left to play at his next destination.

Big 12 vibes… yikes 😳

Gregory is not a game changing player especially in the SEC. He couldn’t see the field at South Carolina then transferred to ok st and had a decent year. Big 12 might be his level of competition

Do you remember what was at SC the year before last lol. He was a true freshman and none of our Edges would have started either. Dylan Stewart and Kyle Kennard. I think they had some nasty backups too.

Where would Brad Spence be?  He seems like a candidate for OLB in a 3-man front.
