hopefully ADs are already talking behind the scenes about this mess.  None of them can like this.  CFB cannot survive every offseason being a free for all.  Coaches will rather go to the NFL where they have structure behind the madness.

I say half jokingly, but with court battles and everything else that lead up to this point congress may need to be involved

They need a collective bargaining agreement.  Legislature will just get tied up in the courts.  Players need to unionize and negotiate with the NCAA on pay and contracts so that we can get some rules behind this.

this is gonna be a mess for the HS recruits btw.
They talked about it already on coffe & football this morning and I couldn't agree more.
Think everyone will shrink their roster... no point in having 105 guys just to have 30 or 40 leave every year.

College football heading down the same path as college basketball. Sucks for high school kids.

I admit that seeing A&M bring in experienced SEC linemen and basically completely rebuild their line while Texas struggles to get a single serviceable OL in the portal is a bit demoralizing.

South carolina had the worst line in the SEC lst year so they can have that guy.  The two interior linemen don't have a lot of experience and from what i've read they may not even be starters next year anyway.  The Bama tackle is a good pickup though.

Considering what they already have on campus, makes me wonder if Haynes is going to hit the portal as rumored.

Like @Bobby Burton said... until they do and come in for actual visits I'm not moved by who *might* jump in the portal...

I wonder how much of a “talking to” the BMDs gave Sark for all of the wasted money / resources from the last three high school classes that were wasted… There has to be some sort of internal pressure for this much of a correction.

There is no doubt, this strategy is a good move. I hope Sark can execute but this had to be forced upon him. Just my opinion.

Bama and LSU were sure known as great O-Lines this year.

Do you think Alabama and LSU are letting good offensive line players walk to other SEC schools?

19 players currently in the portal. I don't know how many are OL?

Texas reached out to the agent of Tennessee transfer LT Zalance Heard today, and has once before. Heard and Texas not happening. Heard only wants to play LT ... Miami, Kentucky and couple of other SEC schools are in at LT.
