I'm assuming we are going to run the Ewers offense next season since we are going to be getting killed in the A gaps again. Hopefully Cam wasn't a waste of money because if something doesn't materialize tomorrow, next season is going to be a disappointment with the line as is.

Look, if the OL doesn’t add any pieces before the season, it will mean Sark is a complete moron and suddenly forgot his very public message about the need to revamp the OL in the portal. I don’t think Sark is a moron and I don’t think he’s forgotten his stated portal priorities. We also know they still want to add another guard because they tried to get Jordan Church on campus and Tellek Lockette was supposed to visit today. Now, we might not be happy with the pieces they do add, but it’s ludicrous to think they are not going to add any other OL from the portal.

I do agree with everything you said. My only concern is his comments about revamping the OL. That should have been priority number 1. We shouldn’t still be wondering who they are going to add after the portal is technically closed.

Sark and flood have done coaching malpractice the last 2 years on the OL especially the interior tackles have been fine

I was half joking. I can't imagine Sark going into the season with the OL as is. If he did he would be too incompetent to coach a team the caliber of Texas. I'm waiting to pass judgement on who we pick up keeping it real. But I do believe keeping Flood is a mistake. He seems like a better pro coach than college because he can develop some tackles but evaluation and teaching all aspects of OL play is not good enough for developing college athletes. He needs a line that's already established and developed. Or freak athletes that can mask that deficiency.
