Listening to the backtracking on C&F on the line is pretty disheartening. We’re now saying Baker at guard is an addition… come on. Let’s just agree that Texas whiffed on the IOL and it’s a huge question mark and potential major issue.

Correct me if I’m wrong.  Everyone’s pissing in their pants after we made the largest offer to the best available portal OL who stayed at Michigan.  I’d love to remind the weak that most who enter the portal are not studs that would be slam dunk additions.  Goodness.  Cam Coleman, two Ferrari RB’s, the best available LB, a solid TE who can block….starting DB, DL.  I think we all could use some fresh air and keep this insanity in perspective.  
 

we do in fact have quality All SEC players at key positions returning.  Ok I feel better.  Now let’s hope we get lucky w another OL.  But if not.  Chill the bleep out and enjoy life!!!

It’s due to their schedule. They are going to have a cake walk to another undefeated season. I’m sure that has to play into his thought process.

So with Goosby out for spring with shoulder surgery let’s take a look at the starting line. This is just a guess: 

LT - Baker
LG - Sikorski
C - Robertson 
RG - I have no idea. Move Chatman inside?
RT - Siani 

Any guesses other than starting three tackles?

I don’t think Baker moves to LT. He needs all the guard reps he can get. Probably Chatman to Lt

What’s upsetting is how OL and particularly IOL was talked ad nauseam about being priority number one and will be absolutely addressed. Signing one dude with a handful of starts at Oregon state is not that. Yes we got a haul of dudes from the portal to be very excited about but it’s still very disappointing the way OL was addressed.

Time to roll the dice. Hopefully we don't crap out but  I'm betting on Texas. Not financially because the last time I did it was the 2001 Big 12 Championship against Colorado. But a mythical bet. I'm all Texas and I may have my heart broken again  but I'm a Cowboy fan so eff it, I'm riding so I'm used to it! I ultimately trust CDC. Hook'em!

That’s true.  But What is falling on deaf ears for most is we identified the top targets.  Went hard after them.  At that position of need and fell short.  Effort to land the best OL guys is and was there.  It’s not been ignored.  I transferred for a sport to Texas, and it’s effing difficult…much easier to stay ant first school.   Anyway.  Texas tried to big game hunt, & we are all learning you don’t just pluck anyone you want.  
 

I also think there’s still what 5-6k players in said portal?

Well we offered guys, brought some in but the reality is not everyone entering had interest in coming here. That happens. Not like the staff didn’t try to get guys…. People act like the coaches neglected the interior OL on purpose cause they are blind to the need there.
